Let me know, my playtime is down a bunch and I can't see myself being able to log in to salvage stuff. This'd be against the ToS of eve. If anyone would like to discuss the ToS further with Mr Boggler they should do so through PMs. Obviously we can't speculate on the content of those hypothetical private PMs but I imagine everyone involved will be moral.
I doubt my offering a free account to TL members is breaking any TOS rules. If it is, then I'll just let it rot.

We just had an awoxing toon sitting next to an unaligned carrier ready to point it the moment it aligned and a fleet on the gate ready to jump in when my computer crashed. Aeth, who was FC for the team going to point the thing, was confused about whether he should be going in and pointing the thing or not. He sat there as they got called out in intel and spooked the fuck out of the carrier while Johnny sat next to it, also spooking the fuck out of the carrier, waiting for Johnny to call point. The fact that the carrier wasn't aligned and Johnny could point it whenever and they could warp to Johnny apparently did not occur.
Johnny continued to sit next to it while it shat bricks until eventually he pointed it because it was aligning. Only then did Chessur have the sense to suggest that maybe the secondary point fleet should perhaps jump the gate and go. Complete fucking welp. By the time my computer comes back we've lost two drakes and the archon has aligned and warped out. My awox toon got burned for no fucking reasons because apparently when I'm gone, even though I'm not FC of the secondary point team, even when I've explained the plan in detail so everyone knows their role and I've said go, the order doesn't get given.

I sat in jita in for a bit far enough away to warp to wreaks in my alt. Missed a tengu drop by 2 secs. Checked the killmail and i missed 3 CN BCUs and some nice dead space resists. UGH cant catch a break in this game.

I posit that you would earn more isk if you just went ratting in some low sec belt as opposed to relying on the slim chance of looting a valuable wreck in all that lag (from what I"ve heard its like 20+ tidi) before other people.

Ok didn't have time to ask yesterday, what exactly makes this character worth 60b? I have absolutely no idea how valuing this works. I get that he has nice capital skills, but then again they're the worst capitals in the game. Inn a couple months he could fly all sorts of great ships, but if you were buying 131m sp character, I wouldnt think you'd be interested in having more to train.

But I'm right there with you. I never made a lot of ISK missioning, playing the market game, industry, or otherwise. But I did manage to sell a toon for enough to keep me happy in PvP for awhile.
That stuff about Hatch missioning makes me think I really should get my main out of the placeholder corp, and hunt one of you down in the Hatch pub to badger you. I think I may do that this afternoon after work.

Just in my meandering about today I was thinking about making profits on toon sales and figure a profit of at least 2b would need to be made per toon to warrant the transfer fee you have to pay to transfer to the winning bidder. I'm basing this on I may or may not know of individuals who sell isk(not that I do this nefarious deed) and the rate seems to be about 3b per $50 usd.
But if larger profits can be made and you have the capital then it does seem like a good income source to drink from. Another factor also will be supply and demand? Surely people aren't going to want to buy toons forever for big prices? As more people start to realise they can sell a toon to make quick isk surely the worth of that toon has dropped?

You can transfer a toon for 2 plex. When you buy a toon you can put it on a 51 day account that you made so it gets 51 days free skill training before you have to plex it again or sell. That pretty much negates the transfer cost. Also 2 plex are only a bil and I generally buy toons that are several bil underpriced.
