The battles of the evening had been long and ongoing, with many engagements in G-M and 93P with my absence. Johnny and Aeth fell in a Cane and Drake respectively. Not deterred Aeth launched into space once more. In the Nullsec systems close to Saranen, including EC-, a roaming group of two mightly Talos, Vagabond, Falcon, Blackbird, Legion, Cloaky Battle Proteus which never showed his face, and a Cynabal. The Falcon which was using Dread Guristas Multispec jammers met it's dishonorable end before I had arrived.

The first engagement was on the G-M gate in 93P, Aeth's drake dishonored by a scram Vagabond and Falcon, with a Sabre as backup. A second gang of Cynabal, Blackbird, Vulture and Legion engaged the Falcon shortly afterwards, and it died in flames:

I was summoned into battle on the mighty warhorse that is the Oracle, targets abound. Warping to range of the G-M gate in 93P, we had Aeth providing initial tackle, on what I do not remember. Using my terrible piloting skills, I managed to burn around out of my targetting range for a short moment, however the Legion had too much armor, and due to more pressing matters, we had to leave it unscrammed for other targets.

The Blackbird decided to remain on the field, thinking he could save his comrades from the deadly piloting skills of the Hatchery Combat Corps:

Lancing beautiful purple light onto the battlefield, the Cynabal decided it wanted to meet it's end and aggressed on gate in my range. It's shields were no match for the withering fire of my T2 Mega Pulse's.

Emdar with his superior Stiletto piloting skills, as opposed to Karah, grabbed a point on the Vagabond, which was hanging around 100km off gate. The Vagabond died shortly after, Aeth at the helm of his own vengence.

We then found a gang, or two, in the noble system of EC-, at it's core a trio of mighty Talos. Flexing our muscle on the Torrinos gate in EC-, forcing some jumps and generally being douchebags one of the Talos warps to a wreck above the Torrinos Gate. Immediately Emdar in his Stiletto flashed it's warp engines and landed in a split second, pointing the Talos.
Game on, Aeth in his Drake and myself still in my Oracle warp as well. As I had begun my burn off, a Sabre landed, and was immediately blapped by our guns and missiles.
The Talos descended onto my Oracle, showing their power, my shields melted away. With their honor point on my Oracle, I promptly warped out.
With their Sabre dead early on, I turned and warped back immediately and secured us a Talos kill:

However we lost a Zealot when he entered in from Torrinos to join the battle.

We looted the field, victorious. However upon leaving the two remaining Talos and another Sabre landed upon the gate with myself and mighty FC Aeth and jumped through. Starting off this close to ships which are somewhat faster than I am gave me pause, but BATTAL orders were given, and we jumped as well and held cloak. The enemy Talos began to burn off to 40-50km from the gate, which was their first mistake. Had they stayed within 20km, they would have gotten at least one of us. Aeth and myself started the fight by burning straight down, away from the enemy, forcing the Sabre off the field with our combined power.
With their tackle gone, we began playing aggressively, my Oracle and Aeth's Drake against the Talos pair, with Emdar's Interceptor, and a random TL thrasher landing shortly.

While kiting the Talos, the new shift click overheat function typically does not work, and the Talos close range. Our tackling keeping me safe, I am able to dance the dance.

A Pandemic Legion Arazu decloaks!

I am forced off the field in 5% shield due to the mighty Talos pair, fighting valiantly, I commend them. I immediately warp back at range, the Arazu tackled. The honorable Northern Coalition Talos are wary of the PL Arazu as well, and back off. The Glorious Hatchery takes initiative, and we begin laying into the Arazu. We know the implications of a PL Arazu as well, and we are prepared for the inevitable Cyno lighting.

And then it happens, the cyno is lit, but we stay, staring into the face of oblivion; this Arazu will die.

The bridged ships appear on grid, a Panther and two Redeemers, one of which cloaked, I was expecting more. They immediately primary our Stiletto, but with their large guns, they are unable to cause an appreciable effect. The Arazu falls:

With a lack of much of anything on the field by PL, we decide to stay. After all, free Black Ops are free Black ops. The Panther, which was the only presumably active pilot had tried to burn for me, and was easily caught by our scrams, and was the first to die:

Followed by one Redeemer, which gave us uncharacteristically good drops:

Pretty sure this guy uses this Redeemer as a tiny jump freighter, and forgot to refit. Yet this doesn't really explain the shear amount of fuel he has.

Second Redeemer warps away, leaving the carcasses of his friends behind.
So then we spent the next half hour looting everything, and Aeth got like 20 intact armor plates from salvage.
