Never really understood or supported the WoW model, its practily like playing a singleplayer game on a server where nobody interacts or giving a shit about the guy next to you or the server you're playing on while paying 13 dollars a month. If anything its just to experience some cool star wars lore and atmosphere.

Speculation is about March next year. =( Would it work for you to buy a physical copy, have it shipped to an NA or EU address, and have that person mail it to you? Or would playing on a non-AUS server generate too much lag. EDIT: Some people are saying that amazon.com will ship to Australia, so if that's the case, the only issue would be the amount of lag you'd experience. Source

Every MMO I have ever played me and my friends/brother can play together, do quests together, etc. Not once have I felt I had to play alone lol I mean in the beginning sure but after the first 20 minutes of playing the single player is really gone you almost need people for alot of quests (or level up 10+ past the recommended to do it yourself).

We usually get most games on time. This is the exception rather than the rule, and I can only guess it's because EA doesn't give a damn about us since we're such a small market.

"Star Wars: The Old Republic" Previous estimated arrival date: January 12 2012 - January 24 2012 New estimated arrival date: January 03 2012 - January 13 2012 Wondering if I need the box to play past the early launch access period. If I do, it's going to suck.

1) How does this compare to WoW as far as gameplay? 2) Which MMO is it most like as far as overall feel? 3) What super-innovative features are there? 4) Does the game feel "polished?"

I haven't played yet ![]() To me the game looks amazing, but I still worry about server lag, pvp fluidity, and the speed of additional content (those are my only ifs). Looks great though ![]()

I have as much faith or more faith in Bioware than I do Blizzard. A company that supports/patches games 10+ years after release compared to a company that suspends a person from playing a game after an inappropriate comment on a forum. http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/11/player-banned-from-dragon-age-2-forum-accidentally-loses-acces/

And even in the article that YOU posted, EA calls it a fluke and not intentional. Why hate for no reason?

swtor.com is melting at the moment, I was trying to follow a thread getting about 40 replies a minute before it went down. The text of the email: We hope you are enjoying participating in the Game Testing Program and want to thank you for helping shape the most anticipated MMO to date. We've posted a fun short survey for game testers, and the results have been really interesting so far. Answer a few questions and see what your fellow testers are thinking. After the survey, hit the forums to talk about your experience or get gameplay tips.
