In philly. how do u think korver made over 200 threes one season and near 200 the next? korver played just like Rip and reggie coming off screens 24/7. AI was playing point those years and he found korver plenty of times. can he play pick and pop? There's no way a washed up webber woulda been able to avg 20 pts per game had it not been for the open jumpers he was able to shoot through the pick and roll play between him and AI. And for setting up Prince, if you watched Denver last season, there was plenty of times in a half court set where AI just stood there and lobbed the ball over to Melo on the block to let him do his thing.

Kwame is fucking garbage. Drop his ass, he misses layups and he's got terrible rebounding sense for a big. Tayshaun is fucking sweet with the bench. He's always so passive with the starters, but he's great with the second unit. Hermann actually has game. Seriously. Bynum looked good last night. He could be a great backup for Stuckey in the future. Curry = $$$ I know we should wait for the BIG game coming up, but I don't think another run is out of the question anymore. Posey was a big deal for Boston and assuming Dice ends up back in Detroit, we might become a better team than we were last year.

Look at basket 2. Wipe side of face 3. Dribble 4. Look at basket again 5. Wipe face again 6. Profit 7. Sink your freethrow. He was a great player but your right he doesnt belong on the level of Stockton and Malone. Stockton still holds the record for career steals and assists I think, I know he had a fucking shitload of steals.

Haha, reminds me of Nash's unsanitary practice of licking his fingers all the time while playing. Maybe there's a connection beteween unsanitary practices and great shooting? ![]() As for Stockton's records, I remember reading some article (on ESPN I think?) where they talked about the likelihood that certain records would be matched or beat by currently active players. I think Stockton's assist and steal records were two of the more unattainable ones discussed. Edit: Here's the link to the article: http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/Story?id=4452700

Edit: Wow I knew he had a lot and I knew it would be hard to beat. But I didnt think it would be this hard. "If you're thinking of breaking John Stockton's career assists record, just forget it. Even the four players averaging double-figure assists this season registered as having no chance. In fact, to put Stockton's 15,806 mark in perspective, consider that two-time MVP Steve Nash has averaged double-figure assists for four straight seasons … and that if he does it twice more, then at the age of 36, he'll be halfway to Stockton's record. " "Along similar lines, Stockton's record for steals (3,265) is slightly more vulnerable than the assist mark -- but just slightly. Stockton finished with 700 swipes more than any other player in history, leaving Chris Paul with a faint, faint possibility -- a 0.1 percent chance -- of eventually owning the mark. That's 1 in 1,000, basically. As with Smith in blocks, he's the only active player above zero. " Thanks for posting that article it was very interesting.

"Quarterback of the year? More like germ spreader of the year!" 10 minutes with google i couldn't find it...too bad

There were very few teams in the NBA which could stand up to the Jazz during the Stockton to Malone era. Unfortunately there were even fewer teams which could stand up to the Jorand/Kukoc/Kerr/Pippin/Rodman era Bulls. I really think that if the Bulls were not the dominant monster they were back then we would have a title by now. Most definitely. Sad to say this, but those were the day I hated the Jazz and loved the bulls. I was living in Chicago at that time so you can't blame me. I seriously think we do have a chance for the ring for the next few years. That is unless our management fucks us after this season. Literally the entire Jazz roster all have their contracts ending this season. Has me extremely worried. At least I can find comfort in the fact D-will is stuck with us.

Even as he came to destroy us I held Michael Jordan on a damn pedestal lol. The contract issue could be a big thing, but I think we are going to dump AK in favor of a couple lesser players. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
