So this new update has a new tutorial which has you go through 3 challenges: normal jump, rocket jump and some sort of .. speed.. tunnel.. thing. took me forever to get through the last one, i didn't even know you could move that fast at first lol. hurray for random youtube tutorials (i was using this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72Q9SvMLMWE)

anyway my friend is still waiting for an invite if anyone has one left (or someone can tell me how to check if i have any invites), would be greatly appreciated

edit:nevermind apparently this goes live in 4 days anyway

Open beta went online about 30 minutes ago, but the server seems to be bloated. I haven't even managed to stay connected long enough to complete a profile, and everything is super slow and buggy.

Well, I had fun earlier today when there were few people connecting, but now that I want to play, I had to sit through a long queue, which I just alt tabbed and played Unreal for a few hours until I was logged in, but then when I got into a match, after about half a round Firefox crashed and now I'm 42,203rd in line to get back in. Screw it, I'll try later. Seems like ID needs to REALLY up their server space or something.

ya, closed beta was awesome but they just dont have enough servers to deal with this many people i guess. 30k people in front of me in the queue
