I killed everyone except a little under 1 million people with bacteria, ended up with a score of about 88k. If they hadn't found a cure I'd have gotten them all. T_T
I almost missed out on Madagascar. I started off on an island and was watching as one after another all the other islands got infected, until there was only Madagascar left. Then, before it was infected they shut down their shipping port. I cursed at the screen and then bought up all my symptoms now that I was done trying to be invisible, going back to the screen to watch every other country die off. Then, a wonderful sight...A little blue spot floated up past South Africa, landing in the closed port of Madagascar, and I received notice that Madagascar was mine. 
I literally did a fist pump.
So, don't quit immediately if Madagascar closes down on you - miracle boats of doom do happen. :p

are you mothercfucking serious omfg i like just quit when madagascar goes into the fucking oh my god u mean i had had a fcukign chance and wow im such an impatient motherfucker holy fucking shit i quit like probably 4 fucking times on the long game shit because of fucking mad and UR TELLING ME THAT IT STILL ... SHIPS CAN STILL FUCKING GO IN? OMFG not to mention i only waited like literally 200 days to get the fucking evo points to kill everyone my first try cause i was too much of a shithead to save points and just omfg please die stupid retarded flash game that wasted my life for about 3 or 4 days i have better fucking shit to do then bending over and extending my ass to it repeatedly

Haha, yeah I had that too, except without them closing docks. Except in every other game I played, they closed docks right after, so I guessed I just paused at the right moment.

Well, don't be too downtrodden, as I believe I just got fantastically lucky, not that I found a way to always get Madagascar. :p I've played three times now and the other two times Madagascar shut down and never got infected for me. I think I just lucked out in that a ship was already en route to Madagascar when they shut down their port.

Beat it my first try, I should have been more focused on getting symptoms that kill.

YEAH!!! FINALLY!!
So here's what I did:
1. Realistic - Parasite
2. Sell any symptom
3. Upgraded Cold/Warm/Moist Resistance to lvl 2 (no Transmissions yet)
4. Upgraded Drug Resistance to lvl 4 (still no Transmissions)
5. Waited until I raised enough points to get all Transmissions at once (about 30 i think). If they start looking for a Vaccine before this, then get Waterborne and Airborne asap
6. Waited for it to spread everywhere (no symptoms just yet, countries weren't closing borders)
7. Countries started closing stuff, Madagascar only place not infected. Madagascar closed borders.
8. Cursed for about 30 seconds before I realized there were still ships mid-ocean. One of them went to Madagascar (SUCCESS!!)
9. Got all the good lvl 1 symptoms (Fever+Sores+Fatigue = win)
10. Waited, used extra points to get deadlier symptoms, but you'd win anyway because all but Greenland's hospital would be offline.

Someone should totally make a multiplayer version of this game, with like one side being the virus and the other being the humans. or like virus vs. virus

you dont have to infect the whole world to get a high score, the speed you kill off people seems to matter more
my best was 290k in around 40+ days as a virus with 2 countries left uninfected

150kk is a shitti score...
i make about 170kk every time, without killing everybod. I kill everyone infected round day 40~60
things i usually do: infest water supply very fast without so many resistances then go for a high symphtome, edemas are great, but cough is the best for spreading.
I keep spending points in the expensive contagious and deadly sympthomes i found, then air and rodent, then resistances.
You will get a world infested withouth madagascar around day 14 or before.
tips for fast killing
things like fatigue, hyersensivity, sneezing are great toghether with one or two hard deadly sympthome, i like to use hemorragie, but bad kidney should work also
Sweating is greath if you are using diarrhea

finally killed all humans, i upgraded all transmit ability, increase virus immunity when i can, gave it no symptoms until the world is totally infected, then i get heart failure and everyone started dropping like flies,

but that is a so long way!!!!
try to do it in 3 months!
