OK, im in on this as well. I'm trying a hardcore macro approach with spaced out tiles so I can get many free squares when I fill it up later. Assuming, as with all macro builds, that noone disturbes me meanwhile.

EDIT: reread the rules, and it turns out that I can only get extra squares by stealing them from others, not from white ones, so my macro approach is completely pointless and is only opening me up for attacks.

Dont do like I did!!

Also discovered you can see who it is by hovering the mouse over a square.

haha, yeah I saw you were playing as well and I was about to ask you for strategy, but then changed my mind and just went for the macro strategy. Which turned out to be a mistake. I'll just ask you next time.

I hate teamliquid for the sleep it is stealing from me.

I looked at another board, and the most successful players are like everywhere on the board. Also, one of the top players was drifty, the guy with the blue man sitting on something yellow, and he is just infiltrating everyone everywhere on our board. So Ill change strategy and just infiltrate any (non TL) players. And by infiltrate I mean steal their empty spaces that the tax creates.

TL FIGHTING!!

Yep, Im fairly convinced that infiltration is the way to go. Even if you just put a new tile completely on its own it still got a decent probablity to turn a adjecent tile white, or make it yours. If it turns white, just follow up, and you will have a better chance on the second shot since you already have a tile nearby that reinforced your probability. I just got 7 bonus tiles from my 40 that I places, and I destroyed maybe 30-40 tiles for other players.

So just infiltrate the hell out of everyone (but CHECK WITH THE PLAYER LIST IN THE OP FIRST!!
