hey if you haven't seen this (i mean it's two hours long but...), 1.5 gigs lol. if you like mvc2 or are just curious how it evolved, b5 mvc2 tournament.. back when people like alex valle played mvc2. a lot of blackheart, dr. doom, spiral, and cable in these videos (TONS OF PROJECTILE TRAP TEAMS), the only people using magneto in these videos are justin (magneto/cable/cammy) and combofiend (magneto/cable/cyclops). The only people that seem to be using storm and sentinel on the same team are justin (storm/sentinel/cammy) and viscant (doom/storm/sentinel), and nobody had unlocked the true cheapness that is sentinel w/ capcom to the extent that we have today. there's no team scrub, santhrax, no ironman, no msp, no mss, none of these teams in these videos. Magneto doesn't do the ROM, he does a rejump infinite (looks like a combination of the ROM and ironman's rejump haha). Nobody has psylocke, not a single person, everyone has cable antiair, cyclops aa, or cammy aa for that slot. There's a japanese player (White), who you may have seen videos of his iron man or videos of his HnK play. People play captain commando and cammy and cyclops on point in these videos like it's normal. It's really interesting for someone like me who had only heard about how mvc2 used to be and never seen it. When justin does launch -> air combo -> lightning attack -> lightning storm -> dhc to sentinel -> sentinel does aircombo after, the crowd sounds like they've never even seen that before. Even just how they play the same characters is interesting, there's a lot more blocking and stuff. I also wonder if they knew that you can punish cable's ground hyper viper on hit with a rocket punch because they don't do it more than once in this video, very odd. Shit, Viscant picks MARROW in a tournament in one match. Fucking marrow. its like watching old school mvc2 die | ||
