My friend in the dorms wrote a script that lets you enable infinite health/timer/meter for 1st player in CPS3 Emulator. Lemme get it up on rapidshare. Warning though, the meter stays infinite even when you're in a timer super (genei-jin/Seiei-enbu) so it's useless for learning genei-jin enders, or jab short strong genei-jin.
grab it before the dl's on it run out. To use it, put it in the same folder as emulator.exe for CPS3 and while the emulator is running, run training mode and press F1. It'll enable everything for player 1. Note you'll still have to hit start and select a character for player 2, just bind it to some random keys on your keyboard.
Awesome Thank you very much.
edit- I can't seem to get this to work. Does it only work with the japanese rom or something?
It opens the emulator but doesn't do anything. When exactly am I supposed to press F1?
I'm using this with the US version. Here's my handy dandy guide to getting it running since I'm lazy as shit when it comes to typing.
Has anyone here tested/played on a SF IV TE stick yet? I'm thinking about getting one, but after going through an hour of material on SRK I found mostly mixed reviews about the quality and condition its being sold in. Some good, some bad, some REALLY bad.
The 2 sticks I already own are for PS2 and pretty old, so I need a new stick for my PS3 to play SF IV. I'm mainly trying to decide between the TE or an HRAP 3. I've found Hori products to be very reliable, and its always quality stuff, they have a very good rep with me. Madcatz I have avoided like the plague for the past few years, just out of advice from almost everyone. However after reading about the TE and all of its features it just looks so sexy, its tempting me so much.
I know I could probably just mod a cheaper stick to play like perfection, but I'd rather not go through the trouble of obtaining the right parts and all that. I'm not worried about how soon I can get it either, so that's no problem.
Basically, I just need some opinions from people who've played on the TE, and how it performs.

That wasn't a "vacuum leg": the Makoto tried to dash in because Ken taunted (you can see the start-up of her dash during the super flash) and dashed straight into the super.
The best part is that the Makoto ragequits afterwards, lol.
Having just got a hrap3, I love the thing. Not much difference from a hrap2, only difference I've noticed is that I like the buttons a little more. Only complaint so far is it's a little buggy on the PC, or at least I havent figured out how to configure it with ggpo properly yet.
the other advantage of the hrap3 is that you can get it shipped to you in time for 4's release
