don't play em, it doesn't make you a better player in real games. You should play non-em games and just go with basic items like bracers/boots into higher items.
hatchet is really used in certain babysit lanes, but overall its just to give you a nice boost early to out cs your opponent if you really need cs. mostly carry heroes get this, so if you arent a melee carry, you probably wont get it except in rare case vs tree where you have it on the chick.
power supply is good on all heroes. elder parasite is ok, but it can get you killed really quickly on alot of heroes due to the + damage taken.

DC those are not simple questions to answer. They vary per Hero and playstyle.
The only insight I can give you right now is that EP is not so good because it turns you into a glass canon that can be focused down way to easily and that Power Supply saves lives. Get it second after your Marchers most of the time unless you have to rush some item. It's just too good.

2. Elder parasite is good only for a few heroes, not "most dps" (that's for DCLXVI).
3. Boots/Marchers as a first item is horribad in most cases (good sign of EM player).
4. Don't point at other people, give out their account names and tell people to spam them in-game ffs (especially someone with 11 posts). If you can't give advice yourself then just don't and see if perhaps someone else will, there's quite a bunch of competent players lurking here.

Mani, by Marchers I mean the 500g ones (that's what they are called in HoN and he seems like hes new to both DotA and HoN) and I didn't tell him to get marchers as first item, I said to get PS after his 500g marchers. And the Testie thing was a joke, it's not like hes account is a secret hes on the TLn channel alot, again I thought that "and often" part gave it away but apparently I was wrong. I think Testie got that I was kidding.
I was trying to give basic advise with a little joke...
