Today, I got pulled over trying to get to school on time. As soon as the police officer got to my window, I put on my most distressed face and said "Officer, please, my wife is in labor at the hospital! I need to be there!" He looked at me skeptically and said "...Your wife?" I said "Yes, my WIFE. Is that a problem?" He proceeded to look very embarassed and said, "Oh, no, not at all. I'm very sorry, m'am.
