S2 balance:

FA can use mkb for 2 years with split shot, is only hero with split shot

Release new hero who has splitshot + frenzy as ultimate

1 week later nerf MKB so splitshot doesn't work with it anymore

Empath + Hammerstorm is actually pretty beastly in pubs, though she's still an awful hero. The ults synergize really well together (150% base damage with 80 or whatever attack speed and another +80dmg on top as icing on the cake all piled on top of having cleave built in) and hammer is tanky enough as a str hero to hold up to some abuse. My only penta-kill in HoN is from having my ult + dd + empath's ult all at once (I was a fed hammer as well so that helped of course).

finally patched those exploits which have been there for a long time, i regularly visit hacking sites cuz of d2. They atleast got all the breaking ones like seeing fayde when invisible which was just silly. Sadly they can't patch out the projectiles of pharo, aluna, valk and chipper. Although that stuff isn't super useful anyways because you need vision of it before the trail would appear just due to how well fog of war was handled. Also you can still access current hp of all heroes pretty easily and make that a mod which i don't care for having exact hp up there when heroes like lego use that for ult.Also got rid of that exploit a couple weeks back where you can get item data of all heroes at once always, so you can auto known when someone buys an eye or pk

imho shudder slow should've been made something like 0/15/30 instead of 10/15/20 to make him more useful late game. i doubt new shudder slow stacks with impalers (haven't checked) so it's kinda pointless having it, really

also missed out on slither buff, not sure if warranted. wards are quite strong as is.

Is HoN acting up on you guys too? I'm not even talking about EU server pop not showing but this constant mini-lag, heating up my laptop even more than before and I get "no response from server" at least once each game now...

Holy Crap! Are you watching the It's Gosu tournament? Fray showing their balls of steel as they pick Hag, Witchslayer, Deadwood, Aluna and Cthuluphant for their line-up. Hahaha, freaking awesome! (I'd still see Pyro instead of Aluna and Lego instead of Cthulhu in this though, would be just too much awesome)

geo ult with staff seems really good now, 300 to 600 range is a HUGE buff

and slither wards sight from 300 to 600 muhaha (dont think it was necessary but its also huge as well)

Pretty sure Geo ulti is still 300 but they added on a 600 range slow on top of it. I'm mostly happy they nerfed Midas and Tort, hopefully we'll see some more diverse picks instead of them every game.

So where do you find hon pro games? I'd like to check it out. Any good caster or team to look out for?
Also is there any sign of the dota 2 keys getting more laxed? Seems almost impossible to get a hold of one.

I really like playing casual mode. Getting killed doesn't mean quite as much, and it more often gets to the late game

Probably the thing I like the most about HoN compared to dota. The bad part is just that most new heroes are completely buttfuck OP =(

http://honcast.com/ is a good place to start.

Also, don't play casual mode, ever. This will only hinder your ability to play any form of regular game in the future.
