Babyknight on the other hand, I just get raped every time I play against him, it's not even close, pretty cool guy though, it seems like he would rather play with his friends than in those IH leagues which is why you might run into him on Garena in some random Euro room 200. Babyknight is fucking good. Every game I watch from him there's so much skill and talent. Game 1: Hardcore push strats suck this version. Mention ES/Veno but Weaver has The Swarm, couple that with SF aura waves are as soft as butter. Game 2: Outpicked. BP has two autoban heroes in Lich, AA and a great carry in Spectre, great support in VS (along with the others). As long as they do their jobs right, that game was too hard for Na'Vi, just teamfight rape teamfight rape teamfight rape. Yea I was hella surprised by the CM first pick, I think you really gotta abuse the hell out of that aura for it to be worth it (and do more proper bans).

I honestly think that Navi didn't expect to lose top lane so soundly. I also didn't expect Navi to go on tilt after getting cleaned up at top.

Anybody like, 1400+ or so want to play? I've done like 8 games of matchmaking and I'm 2-6, although I'm pretty much even k:d every game, just can't get any consistency with teammates
Add me "Zlasher" if so

Wow, I didn't know there was an inkling of DotA in the TL community. Anybody still play on Pub? (I guess it's Cash now, but.. T_T)

rabid lets play dotacash i figured out how to change my ip to evade ban and i need dcihl

Can someone resend a [TL] invite? I just need a group of people to get better and get me back up to 1500, too many positive games that aren't leading to wins for me =\

Everyone is bad, thinks they're amazing, and loves to yell out orders.
I'm 1800+ on both my accounts and I've been playing with some 800-1500 MMR friends trying to teach them/playing for fun. I'll add you if you're interested but, again, you shouldn't be too serious.

It's not so much the barking orders or anything I just want to play in groups of 5 more often, and yeah I take HoN just for fun just would be nice to have a lot more people on my list that I can just get games with once in a while.
Add me sometime, its just Zlasher

If you want DCIHL we should all play in a vouch game together. That or grind some games to get into T2 then famous it up.

is [TL] a community type clan on HoN? or is it actually a team xD I'm just wondering because I have no-one to play hon with, just like to play inhouses etc..
|
It's a community clan but hardly anyone talks within the clan

However, you're supposed to have a decent amount of clanwar / competitive experience for DCIHL, so off the top of my head I think only a small handful off TL would fit without some more practice. T2 is much more likely, as it's basically the pubstars league (based off t1 elo).

I think being serious kind of ruins some of the fun in Hon. I'm sitting around the 1700-1750 mmr range so I know something about the game but I'm not super amazing and sometimes I just get so sick of playing matchmaking. I lowered my psr to below 1500 so I could go play in the 1000-1500 range in no stats games just to blow off some steam. You can't get the epic feeling of winning an extremely close 60+ minute match where both sides are down a lane or two, but thats a game that doesn't often occur. Noobstomping at low rating psr lets you relax and do stupid shit like codex+blink on moraxus or mock on soul reaper.

Is there a free spot left? I'm a 1600~1700MMR player but i can at least admit i still suck lol
If you don't want to play seriously you should try to get into duplicate hero pubs. 5x rampage = greatest fun i've ever had in hon
Btw low psr doesn't meant they suck. I've played some 3v3's with 1300 psr players who really know how to play the game

I think "being serious" is often confused with "being a tool." Everyone is serious in that they want to win but most people you think of as serious are really just tools. Basically it comes down to personalities.

I don't go and play low ranked games just to play wacky builds and still stomp people because I'm frustrated at my MMR. What I'm trying to say there is that my friends are bad to mediocre and if you want to play with us, you can't expect to win every game. We always have fun and I'm always teaching them but that doesn't mean I'm doing stupid builds every game. That's not to say I don't try out suboptimal items if we're going to win anyway but I don't throw games.

However, low MMR does mean they suck even though that "suck" is all relative.
There are some 1300 MMR people who have a great concept of the item/skill builds/playstyle of their hero -- better than some 1700. The reason why they suck is because they have terrible mechanics and, also often, game-sense. They haven't played enough games to be able to feel when to go in, when to use their skills, how to use their skills, and basically how to react to the current situation. For example, I've been playing with a friend for about a month and he's learnt some good strategy and concepts. The problem is, he hasn't played enough games to become intuitively good so in a team-fight/abrupt situation, he doesn't have time to think and he reacts poorly.

I'm about to hop on and try to find some games, anyone in the 1450ish area or higher that wants to get some TMM's going find me in the channel

Anyone see the Global Agenda email about SMITE? Looks like they're trying their hand at the DotA genre now.

Way to be a wimp about it, it's much more fun to still play for MMR while trying out interesting things. What you're talking about is noobbashing, not "playing less seriously". People respond more severely in matchmaking too :D
Me and my brother did an immediate pick of NH and scout and built codex on both, that was a blast. Would've won too if some whiner didn't leave as soon as remake votes didn't go through.
