Berry + biggest ball every single time That's hard to believe. You must be extremely unlucky lol. Abra's have a fairly high catch rate, probably to compensate for the fact that they instantly flee. I'm 14/15 myself, always Razz + ultra ball 12/13 for Abra here. I need to find me one of these 5 biomes in one place locations. Most cities don't have those locations sadly Yeah I know Sounds awesome though. Couldn't find a Lapras this morning which was really sad. Was late to work (not a big deal) as I drove all around the nearby streets trying to pin it down in time. Also 14/15 on Abras now. Only need about 5 more for my Alakazam!
I never miss on any of my sightings anymore with fastpokemap.se Just have it open in your mobile browser and switch to it when you see a pokemom you want in your sightings.
1)Click on the button to scan where you currently are 2)once the scan is done, you should see your pokemon in the sightings, click on it and it creates a blue rectangle on the map where it could be. 3) throw a couple of scans in the rectangle until you find it and it shows up on the map
When the site isn't down it's definitely the easiest way to find pokemons.

I will definitely try that. I think I had nailed down that rectangle based on it dropping off my tracking I just couldn't find the exact location of it driving around with the 5 min I had to do so. Would certainly help the intial guesses though so that's awesome

+ Show Spoiler + I can't believe I just noticed this but what does this blue halo around some of my pokemon mean? A pidgey, a caterpie, and a diglett have it... I don't think it's egg hatching because some pokemon that hatched from eggs don't have it. I don't think it has to do with CP or appraisal values. Did a search on TSR and got nothing. Any ideas?

It means you have gotten that pokemon in the last day.

Fuck the only time I didn't look at the game coming back home, only opening the game in the house to catch those who spawn nearby... A fucking dragonite is on the sightings list. I quickly put some clothes on and it's already disappeared . And of course it wasn't with the shit mons I can catch from home, would have been too easy.

Usually rare pokemons spawn a couple of times in the same spot or near there. be on the lookout the next couple days !

How much do you need to walk to get 1 candy?

Maybe it is because I have an extra job as a newspaper distributor, but I find 12km to be easy since that is the approximate length of each of my two districts (although my phone is not very accurate measuring distance indoors).

You could distribute it across your existing pokemon in any way you want

Im level 26, and am at 2501 pokemon caught. Never seen a Dratini, Dragonair or Dragonite. It could be 100 km per Dratini candy and I would do it because I never seen them ever.
And I have a guaranteed Magikarp spawn point on the street corner. Sadly the times are random
