<p>The long-awaited super league is upon us! The partnership between ESL and ESEA brings us the ESL ESEA Pro League with $500,000 up for grabs, the largest single prize pool for a league in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive thus far.</p>

<p>All the teams in each division will play each other twice in a round-robin format. Matches will be played out in a best of one with the maps pre-selected ahead of the match.
The top four teams from both divisions will qualify for the ESL ESEA Pro League finals to be held Cologne.</p>

<p>The league will kick off May 4th and will run for eight weeks. Four matches from each division will be played on each match day unless stated otherwise.
Week 1 (May 4th - May 10th) - Monday to Thursday
Week 2 (May 11th - May 17th) - Monday to Wednesday
Week 3 (May 18th - May 24th) - Monday to Thursday + Saturday and Sunday
Week 4 (May 25th - May 31st) - Monday to Thursday + Saturday and Sunday
Week 5 (June 1st - June 7th) - Monday to Wednesday
Week 6 (June 8th - June 14th) - Monday to Thursday
Week 7 (June 15th - June 21st) - Tuesday to Thursday + Saturday + Sunday (six matches)
Week 8 (June 22nd - June 28th) - Monday (six matches)
For the European division, the starting times of the matches are as follows:
Weekday - First match starts at 19:00 CEST
Saturday/Sunday(4matches) - First match starts at 19:00 CEST
Saturday/Sunday(6matches) - First match starts at 17:00 CEST
For the North American division, the starting times of the matches are as follows:
Weekday - First match starts at 20:00 EDT
Saturday/Sunday(4matches) - First match starts at 18:00 EDT
Saturday/Sunday(6matches) - First match starts at 18:00 EDT

I predicted Liquid would get two rifle rounds on T side.
Even that was too much...

Liquid made so many good T side entries and got the bomb down plenty of times. They just got clutched on every single 2v2 and 1v2.(Skadoodle clutched a 1v2 2 rounds out of the 3 rounds C9 won on T side. That's just Individual skill / Experience coming into play there.
Liquid with definite improvements in their play.

Man, I just watched the VoDs and it just seemed Liquid choked. Ska was a beast, but Liquid seemed to have wilted under the pressure. Even with a roster change, Liquid hasn't stopped choking games. So frustrating to watch them. After faceit lan and now this makes me sad.

I am not too impressed with this new Liquid player. Seems a bit average. Though he is better than daps. At least that's an improvement. I guess Liquid isn't willing to spend the cash to bring in a big name. Cloud9 brought in Ska and look how that is paying dividends for C9.
Liquid has the cash to bring in a bigger name imo. I wish they would go ahead and do it.

I think it's time to replace Adren. He's lost a step when it comes to his shot. His in game calling is just as worse if not worser than daps. Adren is becoming a clone of daps o.o

The really need a better OP, adren seems to have so little impact with the awp you sometimes wonder if it wouldn't better if he'd just stick to rifles. Even the ct half wasn't as dominant as the score would indicate, a lot of round were really close and could have gone either way.

Yesterday, liquid's Halo squad went 10-1 against CLG in scrims. At least Liquid put together a good Halo squad that can challenge EG. This counter strike team has been given months to make progress, but they seem to be sruck in mediocrity.
Edit- Liquid's Halo scrims pretty much every single day. I don't ever recall seeing Liquid's CSGO team scrim.

They had beaten Elevate like 5 (at least 4?) games in a row. Beating them again would have been out of the ordinary and said more about elevate than liquid IMO. With kstars, they took them to 2 OT's or w/e it was. They played well tbh...
Their overpass game in the finals against c9 really was probably their worst of the last few days (bad decisions and overeager peeks, etc). I didn't stick around for all those lag issues and last game though.

their game against kstars was quite good actually. only issue is that liquid forgot how brazilians like to play (very aggressive) and lost many rounds to that

I don't think they forgot, it's kind of kstars trademark playstyle that everyone knows.
I thought liquid played well but just needed to hold down cat better. A lot of terrorist rounds won by kstars were from taking cat and then planting for cat. But I only caught the overtime rounds.
kstars is suppose to be a contender for the top in the NA region; so taking it to OT is not so bad. Liquid still seems to be getting better from when I watched them a month ago.

Didn't they lose a map against Luminosity yesterday and won three others? Doesn't seem as dire to me. Apart from that everyone of their wins also looks super crappy :D

As I said I don't want to be an ass about it and maybe I'm just not following this forum enough to see your positive posts, but it really annoys me when people always just see the bad and never the good.
For example I think it was last week when they won 3 games in a row, but then they lost one game and you posted something like ' what the hell is happening with this squad' even though they did play quite well

He's probably the most pessimistic TL fan I've ever seen on this forum.
The thing is , I see him post quite a lot on reddit and he is unusually optimistic in reddit threads but the exact opposite in here. Ignoring him would probably be the best thing.
