I was incredibly salty.

Could have won that game...

EDIT: Just to be clear, when I get angry, it's because I want to win. If I didn't care about winning I wouldn't get salty. I'm fine accepting the fact that I can be a bit too competitive from time to time. If I get on people's nerves, I apologize, but don't take my anger personally.

I can't even count the number of times wala's defended a site solo and suddenly we'd hear, "bomb has been planted," and not a single shot was fired.

Solo B on train is all about playing as gay as possible, really. Just like playing solo on any site in the game. Delay as long as possible, hide in the smoke, abuse counter-flashes and don't take any straight up fights because they will always trade you out 1-for-1 at best and at worst you die quickly. The longer you stay alive, the less map control the T's can take safely and the more often you have the chance to stop the plant and cause problems for the offensive side in the site defense.

When I played it solo in the 1-4 setup, I just tried to play as many different angles every round as I could. Obviously you should never push, there aren't many good angles to do so into upper B and if you get punished your team's chances of winning drop drastically, as often you get little information unless they are already stacked for an execute on the site.

Playing straight-up popdog is fine but you have to be incredibly reactive to opening flashes and have to have a plan for if they smoke you off. You could play one-and-dones but again a lot of those get flashed and you have to be confident that you'll win the entry fight. I personally like playing off the site in the back on top of the trains, smoking lower and watching upper. It's a great spot if you can AWP and even usable with a rifle. You do give up site essentially instantly but you have a high chance of staying alive and a decent chance at taking at least one T down in the entry, giving your team a 5v4 retake.

Never said I didn't know how, it just doesn't suit my play style. The geometry of the site and playing it solo do not lend themselves to the way I usually hold/play angles. I like cross fires and forcing the opponent to come to me, that's part of my style, which doesn't work when you have to play almost at the back of a long corridor-filled site opposite of the bomb train. On inferno the site is way more compact and the passive angles you can hold have spots across the site that Ts coming in also have to clear so that's a nice distraction to utilize. Quick compact movement with a lot of control over my angle of approach, and I can choose between mid-range and close-range engagements, I like that. So there's enough stuff that I like using on inferno b site that even though I might have to solo it there is still something for me to do that fits with the way I like to play individually.

On second though that's why I also like playing on b site on dust 2, solo or otherwise.
