Adren competed at the top of the NA source scene for a while. He isn't going to improve that much if at all individually. I will never understand why they have daps calling when adren has proven to be one of the best IGL in NA.

Because everyone on the team has already said they haven't even had a month of practice to create strats and see what works and what doesn't. Daps may well be the weak link on that team but they would much rather stick together for sometime and make roster changes if they really feel necessary. That is absolutely the correct way to go instead of switching players every single event and scapegoating players.

Them needing more experience aside, let's get our facts straight. They've been together for much longer than a month. The only really new member is adreN and all he did was replace Shahzam as an AWPer. nitr0 was on the team before he had that short stint with iBP and after. daps hasn't shown any sparks of potential with his in-game leading and it really cost them against Flipsid3, even after some really nice individual effort got them a lot of rounds they shouldn't have won and got them close to winning.

Right now TL has a lot of potential with Fugly, nitr0 and adreN. If the team wants to take their game to the next level, it's gotta start with daps. NAF has been underperforming as well, but the bigger issue right now is in the strat calling department. These guys have all been playing the game long enough to know that their stagnant CT play against Flipsid3 was just atrocious. That loss was not even a matter of not having enough time to mesh -- just one right call in like five rounds could have won them the game.

Where daps is right now, it seems like it'd take way too long for him to get up to speed. As much as I hope he'll prove me wrong, I don't think it'll happen. If TL doesn't wanna change the roster, they should at least consider an igl change. daps can be a capable fragger when he doesn't have to worry about leading.

I can see that happening. A couple of days ago a guy in adreNs chat asked him why he wasn't IGL on Liquid, to which he pretty much replied "because I'm the new guy and daps has been doing it and I don't want to impose". Not verbatim, but that was the gist of it.

We'll see.

it seemed like kabum had decent strats, but their aim was really off, even when in advantageous situations.
