Yeah the tournament support is lovely, but it was way too long after launch.

Yes I know it´s Greg Black. Saw that recently when they introduced the new Co-Op mission in a designer Insight. I also remember you as a writer for gamereplays.org. Are you still there from time to time?

Occasionally, i still play Red Alert 3 when the "old gang" is all online at the same time. So I visit GR.Org occasionally as well. I still keep in touch with Keyamoon.

looking back at some of my first articles it is comical how bad my english was...
i found the entire C&C community was so tight-knit because they all knew it was an uphill battle against the big SC2 elephant in the room... it was also easy to be a big fish in a small pond.. which was fun to do.

I have not watched any tournaments so maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like its basically impossible to tell which player is which. Colors don't seem to match up at all.

Nevermind I figured it out. They are labled player 1 and 2. Seems like it would just be a lot faster to make colors match though.

It's been a problem with the game from the start. Player colour doesn't match map colour, and all units inside bushes are blue. I wonder if they're working on that issue.

Edit: WELP NEW FREE RACE TOMORROW. Good announcement.

I will say, the amount of effort that the devs are putting into a game with a small playerbase is astounding. I genuinly hope something big happens and it takes off.

Ah I see gTank was faster. Yea, 4th faction, new mission vs that faction, new units for 3 existing factions, balance overhaul.

Cheaper base game, more Frank's music. Good new over all.

And the game has no problems it had at release, they fixed performance, put in new maps, got replays and observers system in (and pretty good one) and other stuff.

I would say at this point this is worth the buy for 30$.

Also I am waiting for Jimmy to say he was wrong about this game :D

Really awesome to see an expansion pack to this game. All the other Petrogylph projects look like complete trash, so it was worrying me about the fate the studio. adding a new race to an assymetrical RTS is really ambitious. Good for them

i hope this game becomes a great success and spearheads a renaissance of the RTS genre. all it is.. is hope there is no reason to think it'll happen. the playerbase is small. i hope the 74 people who are playing the game right now are having a great time.

i don't let hopes, wishes, and dreams interfere with what i see happening in reality.

Good luck to GreyBox hopefully, their expansion sells 2 million copies..
