All right, LT has decided that it's time to put his foot down for TL7 due to the long time people seem to take in submitting their pretenders (and frankly, I agree; this game should have hosted weeks ago).

Any pretenders not submitted today (EST) will be out of the game.

Hi,

I'm fairly new to Dominions, been playing a couple months against AI trying to get my head around the game, and thinking of joining some newbie friendly MP games. Also heard/read that you folks have a Skype channel dedicated to Dominions chat, and would be interested in lurking/learning from there.

Yeah, Teamspeak does work well for that sort of thing. I'll rattle the chains in the TL skype group and see if I can get anyone else.

I'm envisioning a game that's friendly to new people and veterans alike, by asking veterans to do things that are silly or non-tryhard.

a disciples game can help to coach newbies and is actually quicker than a FFA, my problem with blitz games is that I fall for attrition IRL

ah, you've not been observant enough

i did, altho you probably didn't recognize the theme/after who it is renamed (in simil latin, not a seriously translated version of the name) yet ^^

Heads up post

Firstly there's potentially a blitz saturday evening (euro time), depending on whether we get people (and anyone steps up to organise)

Secondly, Just wanted to repeat that our community is nowhere near as dead as the thread indicates, the skype group is incredibly active, we just don't post here :p

Any newcomers just pm someone here (or post) and they can add you (or direct you to someone who will.)
