While the attendence playerwise is depressing, a series of Moon vs TH000 is still world class and worthy of the WCG final name. I wanna know though. What is your favourite WCG final, guys? For me it is hands down 2007. Creo coming back from out of nowhere, taking down the at the time undisputed #1 Sky (this was just before the "Fifth Race" era fully took off, people still hadn't really gotten over the slump Moon had year before). He had already taken 2 golds in a row and looked set to take the 3rd when Creo just one-two'd him to snatch the gold in some truly amazing NElf play. As amazing 2008 finals were from an objective point of view, I just cannot call it a favourite due to the outcome. That <1% hp blademaster haunts me to this day. Urgh! I hope from the bottom of my heart that Moon can get this. | ||

A very warm welcome to this thread to you! I think we share the same favourite finals. Creo's performance was amazing, I'll never forget it. Although I did seriously enjoy Grubby's victory over Moon in 2008, even if it was really close and lucky. Grubby deserved it, he had been getting crushed by Moon for so very long at that point. I also both loved and hated the 2006 finals, because I was rooting for my countryman (ToD), and I was disappointed when he lost. I don't remember when WEG was, I believe it was in 2005? And that was the only time he ever got a significant win out of Sky, sadly. I always kept faith though! If you'd like, I can add you to the thread and we could get some games going some time, Elem! | ||
