Damn. Good post. Orc has been getting more and more obviously OP. When the pros start switching, that's when this issue needs to be formally addressed. The good thing is Blizzard has made it clear they are actively monitoring things. If they are, none of this is lost on them. This is a very obviously bad situation and Orc is simply too strong.

Well that I think is the hilarious part, I don't think any of this was forseeable. I recall most of the analysis prepatch was that orc units needed to buffed to compensate for the loss in blademaster dps or they would suffer.

Well, nobody expected Orc to take over, Orcs were even thinking they got the short end of the stick with their BM nerf, turns out that it hits way later than expected and the other heroes got buffed in more important ways.
The problem with Orc is that they get countered by magic damage and spells, but all casters are squishy and the buff to things like chain lightning or TCs movement speed (and shockwave because of it) make it easier to deal with those squishy targets.
Turns out Orc got buffed because their counters got slightly nerfed and their aoe got slightly (sometimes indirect) buffs.

The only other thing to be worried about is AM into Alch for human, because that shit is really insane. Top it of with some Bloodmage for mana and nothing will ever die unless you have enough burst to outright kill a unit.

Same here man , Im still a fan of the old moon we loved back in the mid 2000's , every once and a while we get a glimpse of that true 5th race but it doesnt stick , I want to see Moon rise to become the champion we know he can be.
