JR Smith copping a karma beatdown tonight.
J.R. Smith thinks the New York Knicks would have swept the Boston Celtics if he had been playing in Game 4 of the division rivals’ playoff series.
“Oh yeah, it would’ve been over,” Smith said after Tuesday’s practice. “I’d have been playing golf today.”
“It was very tough to watch,” Smith said. “Especially that first half. I mean, from the turnovers to missing shots. … It wasn’t the easiest thing ever.
“I wasn’t pleased with it. My teammates wasn’t either. I’ll get the chance to make up for it tomorrow.”
Currently 0-10 with 8mins to go in the fourth.

been getting into nba since getting nba 2k13. Slowly working my way around all the American sports after doing baseball and being a fan of NFL for a long long time. My first playoffs watching through, been enjoying the games so far. I think basketball seems to be having a good time recently with players like KD and Lebron James...Kobe Bryant seems to have been in the game forever lol (when I was a kid all I knew was MJ and Kobe). Good stuff...it's a great game! Quite subtle and like many American sports, it requires a comprehensive understanding of the rules otherwise it's just total gibberish.
Something I always knew about basketball is that it's great for tight endings, for some reason teams often go hot and cold and go on streaks...rarely is the gap between the teams gigantic. Unlike many other games, where very often they can be a foregone conclusion by half time.
Stephen Curry's 3 pointer bonanza the other day was very fun to watch :D

This Knicks team Is. Not. Good. They are a bunch of ball hogging thugs that can't play defense.
They are lucky to be in the weak Eastern conference in the perfect seed spot to avoid Miami until the EFC.
They are EXTREMELY lucky that they got paired with a very old and very depleted Celtics team.
And they still make it look hard.
Oh and JR Smith is a big mouthed punk. You cannot be an elite team when JR Smith is your #2 scoring option and your #1 tries to shoot 30+ times a night.

Wow, there was a brutal stat just on the cast: Knicks have shot 3/28 from 3pt range in the fourth quarter this series. Yikes.
Guess it hasn't really hurt too much against the offensively challenged Celtics.

Same as last game. :/ Knicks' best run was when Felton and Chandler were running PnR's, but the Knicks only used it for like 1/10th of the game.

Just saw this on ESPN chat. May be the funniest stat of all time:
"59 total shots + 26 ft's = 58 points in the last 2 games for Melo. lmao" That's 18-59.
All-time embarressing. Oh... and they were both close-out games.

Spelling on that poll is awful. For some reason 'nay' became a popular expression of a horse. My bad.

we should stop shooting 2s all together, it's how we going to win or lose anyway

Smith didn't foul? That's a first.

Lol, it's like bowling pins when Asik driving the lane. First time I've seen two guys take the same charge.
