Phil used to do this all the time. I'm sure that's at least part of the reason, if not the whole reason. However, it doesn't come off as well when he's being a total hypocrite after labeling himself as a tough old school type of player/coach, and calls out that type of physicality when he's made use of it himself not that long ago. I hope the refs call him on his BS and swallow their whistles in the next game.

It's the same with the whole Yao Ming drama from years back. Coaches are always trying to influence officiating. But yeah, it's nothing compared to what's going down in Grizz v Clips.

Plus it's always nice to see CP whining to the refs but being ignored.

I have to admit, a lot of times I watch games and can't note every intricate detail of their plays, but after watching the last couple of LAC games, I think this team has gotten as good as it's going to get under Del Negro. There doesn't seem to be any offensive gameplan at all. Yes, they have some nifty passes, but they don't have much conventional ball movement at all. Chris Paul has had some impressive personal performances, but I haven't seen his MVP-worthy game control (he had 4 assists tonight). I kept watching to see the Lil' Maestro take control of the game and it just never happened. Crawford just goes out there and plays 1 on 1. This team seems like it has plenty of talent, but, ask yourself, who on this team is going to be better next year. Frankly a coaching change seems like the simplest way to start. (Sorry for the lonely tear drops, Ace.)

To see them go out in the same round the Lakers went out in after everything that was made about this season would be a nice bit of schadenfreude.

The rockets missed mulitple threes up 25+ pts, going for the record, before one of their players got a technical for taunting. That's when Jackson started the intentional fouls.
