The fact that they have just gotten better during both series is a reflection on the coaching. Fixed for you. We don't have any great scorers. Pondexter/Conley are decent at best.
conley is much better than average. you're forgetting bayless. but yer, grizz is all about pounding that low post

Mike Malone is the brains behind GS. Jackson is a man manager and the inspirational figurehead but Malone is pulling the Xs and Os.

I'm with Slyboogie on Mark Jackson is doing a great job for a rookie coach. Is he a little annoying to me personally? Yes, but I have to give him due. If being a coach is getting a team to buy into you and your system, then he is excellent so far (a la Doc Rivers). But he is still lacking in X and O's and has made some mistakes (such as not resting Curry, etc..), so for how experienced he is, he is a good coach. Might be a great in the future imo.
edit: aaww looks like they banned our fellow Knicks fan Mazzi =P

All the experts saying Melo is going off tonight. Time to see how clutch he is.
Melo playing the 3 tonight. That is a much better spot for him in this series.
|
Yikes, Melo is 39% FG, 29% from three and has a 48.9TS% these Playoffs.
You'd almost say it's an anomaly except for the fact he's on average for his Knicks playoff career (three Playoffs all around the same averages). He's looking more and more like a regular season bully and Playoff flop.
Melo Chuck!
edit: in fact it's really interesting to compare his entire career regular season stats (Denver + NYC) vs his Playoff stats. He goes from a slightly above average efficiency, high volume scorer in the regular season to an abomination of a chucker once the Playoffs role around.
Maybe a little ego getting in the way of playing winning basketball?

JR Brick 1-8. So funny to watch.

The "experts" dont know shit. As RB points out, look at Melo's playoff career. Then look at it vs top tanked defense. I had PG as the best player in the series and Pacers to win in 6. Lots of $$ to be made off the uninformed.

Melo is overrated, never plays proper defense, and everytime it gets to playoffs and players are allowed to smother him, as well as shut down team offense with team defense, hero ball gets locked down hard, and he disappears from the playoffs. wonder why Denver never made big with him there, this is Denver 2.0 he even has JR smith and Kenyon Martin again, but now he's got a better legit big, and Amare around, and he still can't put up smarter numbers.
Melo, lulz

Melo isn't overrated by anyone but Knick fans and Stephen A Smith.

HILL!
EDIT: I really hope Chandler gets his second T. I love his game usually, but he's been a little bitch this series.

Considering what he has said in the press recently, I think he's more frustrated by his own team's play than anything else.
Imagine going from the Mavs of 2011 to this version of the Knicks.

Amare also said the Knicks reflect the city. That is like an insult to NYC.

Wow, didn't realize Copeland was 28.
So the Knicks have 10 players signed for next year, and Shumpert is the only one below 28. How much can the Knicks improve?

they can't the knicks are a low end team that get knocked out first round in the west, just lucky they are in the east lol. One round of melo isos can win you one round in the east but thats about it
