I honestly thought their apprehensiveness to go towards the tower was going to stop them from investigating. I mean, the DM is impartial but still trying to make a fun game; he's also not out there to completely screw over his PCs by doing the naturally curious thing when they've otherwise got no leads or interesting ideas. The fights can always be difficult, and simply running away from the giant because they had trouble rolling well against 1 ogre was really odd since they could've easily (as Gen said) simply healed up at town and returned. random edit: Also, I can't recall where Gen found the magical box, when/where was it discovered (or stolen)? | ||
