I also doubt it's Ciri since they're going with "a new saga begins". I'm expecting a departure from Giralt and his cohorts to something else but in the same world. Or before/after Giralt. We'll see in 4 years when we get deets

Main thing obviously beeing the cats amulet which apparently belongs to Ciri (or descendants of her ^^')

Too much other stuff. Maybe when I have more time I'll think about it.

I have been playing CP77 on PS5 and it's much better than I initially expected. I don't bother with aiming on a controller because that is clearly impossible for a boomer like me, but melee, hacking and smart weapons make the game nicely playable on console too.

I never really warmed up to Witcher 3, but part of it might be that everyone shat on CP and praised Witcher so my expectations were very high for Witcher and low for CP. To boot I like CP's scenario more and also felt that characters were a lot more likeable in CP than in Witcher and the actual gameplay more solid, so I enjoyed CP more.

Or you can watch a YT explaining the stories of TW1 and 2 in like 15mins. TW3 for me personally is one of the best games ever made and easily in my alltime top 10. I mean 6 years later and I still remember some of the quests like it was yesterday.

The amount of quests where you had to 'use your witcher senses' which basically means holding down RMB while looking for a small patch of blood in a gigantic area, was just too damn high. I enjoyed the lore, the story, Gwent, the visuals and exploring the world. But the gameplay fell short for me. Cyberpunk gameplay on the other hand, oh baby

That said Witcher3 is still a great game. I really hope they will release the rumored 4K version soon for next gen.

Just being able to walk away from any interaction at any time is huge haha. That said Witcher3 is still a great game. I really hope they will release the rumored 4K version soon for next gen. Just want to point out Witcher Three's ground breaking feature of active map loading. It would load additional parts of the map while you move so you didn't experience loading screens while exploring a huge world. It was pretty huge at the time. I loved the game because I read the books but beyond that is was a technical marvel at the time.

Interesting, wonder what that'll be. Another Thronebreaker-style game? Quite liked that one.
