In my case garchomp rough skin You can only find hidden abilities if all 3 Pokemon of the safari are unlocked. After that I think its 1/n (n= number of avalible abilities) If you have, use a Pokemon with Trace as a lead to check easily

I just did this, I got an Eevee with Anticipation, and before I did research where somebody said its about 50% which holds about right for the amount of eevees I caught.
I caught about 18 Eevees and about 6 of them had anticipation.

this thread makes me want to restart a 4th time cuz i feel i did everything wrong again :D i usually catch 6-8 pokemon of the same type, compare them, and choose the one with best stats fitting for his need. I have no fucking clue how its possible to get close to perfect IVs, like, WTF?
Is there some trick to it? I feel so bad about that right now TT
€: Also, how do I check the IVs of the pokemon i currently have? oO
|
If someone wants an Adamant Eevee with (HA) Anticipation ~I think 4 IVs~ hit me up (Its a perfect setup for a Guts Flareon, also its in a repeat ball so it matches :3)
Also I have some Timids with Anticipation so its perfect for getting your Magic Bounce Espeon :o They're also in repeat balls, nothing short of a Master ball is going to match Espeon's color scheme -.-
Currently working on breeding Bold ones in Dive balls for matching Vaporeons color scheme
If I'm feeling ambitious I might start crossbreeding for Timids in Heal balls for Sylveon!
PS: They all have wish

€: Also, how do I check the IVs of the pokemon i currently have? oO Haha IVs (and even EVs) are mostly a postgame concern. Most of the pokemon you get through events or ingame trades have at least 1 perfect IV. Pokemon from the friend safaris (an exclusively post-game area) have at least 2 perfect IVs, with a relatively good chance to get 3, not to mention access to their hidden abilities. We breed to get the rest of the IVs. Checking them is done in the Kiloude City pokemon center. Which, once again, is post-game only. Alternatively, you can use an IV calculator.
Also, I got wondertraded a 5iv adamant japanese swirlix missing SpD. I didn't plan on breeding one, anyone want it? edit: it has belly drum and yawn bred onto it LOL

The friend safari is in kiloude city, but you can't check your own, only your friends can see.

I have a whole bunch of spitbacks to trade hoping to exchange it with people rather than just trading them off.
Gible (no Outrage, Jolly) Togepi (Nasty Plot, Modest) Froakie (Timid, some are Protean) Joltik (Timid) Larvesta (Timid) Noibat (Timid) Drilbur (no HA, Adamant) Magikarp (Adamant, some HA) Deino (Mild) Murkrow (used in breeding Nasty Plot on Togepi, natures all over the place but I do have 3-4 max IV Murkrows if you need them for some reason)
My boxes are getting full and I'd rather just trade some of my 3-5 IV spitbacks rather than wonder trading them.

I'd take a Deino and Larvesta, I've breeded enough Eevees for most popular natures, timid, bold, jolly, 3-5 IVs. I've also recently put some of them in matching balls as well (took me fucking forever).
Timid in Heal ball for Sylveon Bold in Dive ball for Vaporeon Jolly in Luxury ball for Umbreon Adamant in Repeat ball for Flareon
edit: I also have HA for Eevee for Espeon Magic Bounce and Flareon Guts included
