Hehe if that was to happen....this would be the year of the upsets ^^;

Umm how is denver winning an upset at all?! 2 seed vs 6 seed? As far as i've read, I don' t see any overwhelming majority of polls saying that pittsburgh is gonna win by any means. If anything it's pretty evenly split..

Let's put opinion aside for a minute.

Denver will be favored going into Sunday's match v the Steelers. Denver has the better overall record, the higher seed and they are playing at home - where Denver is undefeated this season. Denver will be favored to win. It doesn't mean they will actually win, but that's just the way the oddsmakers will see things.

Now, for a bit of opinion on my part. Beating Indy does not mean the Steelers are also a team built to beat the Broncos. They still could of course, no doubt about that, but the Broncos are a different team from the Colts. The Broncos are much more like the Steelers than the Colts. Denver can beat you with the occasional deep pass, but coach Shanahan has Plummer on a very tight leash and the team is built around a punishing running attack backed by a solid defense. The similarities continue. The Broncos as an organization (like the Steelers, but unlike the Colts) have a tradition of success in the playoffs. They've won it all before - and not too long ago. I can't emphasize enough how important that tradition of wining is. The organizational experience of being champions affects players in so many ways - even if the players have never experienced it firsthand. It sets the standards high and the players feel it. And Shanahan gives Denver an edge in the coaching department the Steelers won't be able to match.

It will be close, but I believe the oddsmakers will be right - Denver > Steelers. If the Steelers do win, then it will be because Ben Roths has played the game of his life. That guy can be a difference maker.

Honestly, the Colts D came in half asleep in that game. The first six minutes of the game is what killed them. After that, they allowed one TD. If anyone thinks the Steelers are going to do that to the Broncos D, they're in for a real painful surprise. This is especially true if the Steelers come in overconfident off their win. The Broncos would then stomp them into the ground.
