EPTUMVC3 balance is... not nearly as bad as it seems. The game is really unforgiving; damage potential is huge. Each hit confirm can lead to character death. And it really doesn't matter if you're playing some high tier character like Zero because no one is untouchable. You make a mistake and get hit, and you're dead, no matter what character you pick. Doesn't matter what that mistake is either, dropping a combo, eating a mixup, or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bad decisions will eat you alive in this game, and given the game's fast pace, it's easy to make a mistake if you don't maintain great composure under the pressure.
