It's just a totally different pace/vibe from starcraft I can't help but feel a little jealous by the intensity of the community on stream. Is this tournament like the old school WCG of the fighting community? It's a major international tournament that only comes around once a year, which everyone considers the gold standard for players in a game. It's just sick. It's also super impresive that this tournament attracts a pretty ethnically diverse croud. There seem to be a lot of latino/black spectators, and everyone gets super pumped over a wide range of games. Pretty cool. The FGC prides itself on being a very inclusive community, despite what Kotaku may say. White, black, asian, latino, men, women, LGBT, if you want to play, please play.

I think that for some reason there's a lot more black people involved in fighting games than SC2, I'm not sure why that is but I think that it's really awesome. Also even though this is a commercial the game itself seems quite interesting. I kind of prefer tag games over just 1v1 fighting games, they seem to have a lot more depth to them.
