More like 9 hours. SF4 doesn't start till 11pm EST.

I like how they show the bracket on stream. Why do we never see this at MLG?

Pyrrha and Alpha Pat both terrible terrible matchups for Astaroth =/ Shame he had to try and roll with Patroklos, a character he's obviously less experienced with.

Tira's got sick damage potential, she just has to get some inertia goin.

I just noticed that sfxt is already in top 4. Man they just do not want to show that game.

Good that they're improving at least.

I really wish they'd update the brackets through out the day instead of waiting til the end.

Ugh, I really hate that Alpha Pat "inherited" Setsuka's playstyle and story tries to explain that she personally trained him. It just looks so weird seeing Patrokolos use Battoujutsu style, but Setsuka is also technically caucasian so idk. The competitiveness of Soul Calibur hasn't changed by I absolutely do not like how they some of the character inclusions. (3 copycat characters = unnecessary. The lack of Talim (my main since SC2) also did not help this soreness. XD)

SC5 actually looks pretty good. How much respect does it get compared to SF and MvC?

Just put on the pokemon hat, it's over before it even began.

I remember seeing on gyt's twitter that there's a really inefficient and annoying process of getting the updates from pools or matches and then getting them okay'd by like 2 or 3 different people before they update the brackets and wait for the app to update itself. Challonge makes the process 10x easier. UMvC3 was updated on the fly w/ Challonge, at least until someone got the bracket wrong on loser's side.

To put it one way, the casters were thoroughly surprised that SC5 made it over 30k viewers. I'd definitely put SF and MvC on a different level. That being said, I don't think SC5 gets the respect it deserves.

Well I think it's pretty evident to basically everyone that the development cycle was rushed and they ended up running out of movesets and character models. It sucks but the remaining characters/movesets are pretty solid.

Doesn't get a lot of respect from stream monsters that primarily play or watch SF and MvC. It's otherwise accepted by everyone else around the world, and prominent in Europe.
