The game can also be found in Steam, but we don’t recommand that version as it’s not entirely compatible with Forged Alliance Forever. From http://www.faforever.com/?page_id=38 . Been watching the tournament. Really tempted to play again. ^^ | ||

1. MM not having map bans. I simply don't want to play on some of the maps. So I won't use auto matchmaking. 2. The community. As a new player I got constantly kicked from all welcome, noob or whatever games for being a smurf. I never even had an account on the old server. Well that and other stuff, some nice people but majority wasn't. Getting kicked is compounded due to how small the player pool is. Finding a game through lobby can take upwards of 20 minutes depending on mode/map you want to play. Which is then reset for another wait. (I did try hosting, never got a full game when I wanted a 4v4.) | ||

I've never been kicked from games (excluding the ones that I joined that said 1000+ when i'm like 700 or something or nil ping (fucking nil ping)) The majority was just me leaving cause I had to go lol. | ||

With regards to the community, yes, some people can be obnoxious with kicking. More games are hosted based on ratings now, which are useful. We are looking at ways to stop people just randomly kicking, as it does harm the impression we give to new players. | ||
