The Warcraft III v1.19 patch is now available for download by connecting to Battle.net with the Warcraft III game client. After patching Warcraft III with the latest patch, some firewalls and security software may no longer recognize the game executable and restrict online access. Players unable to connect to Battle.net after patching Warcraft III may need to remove the game from a firewall or security software's exceptions/permissions list and add it back. Players experiencing any issues with the game during or after patching may visit our Technical Support Site at - (http://www.blizzard.com/support/).

MAPS

# (2)EchoIsles

* Added range creep to expansion goldmines.
* Replaced both Fountain of Health with Mercenary camps and changed the creep composition so that it’s not all piercing attack.
* Replaced the mana fountain with a Market Place and changed the level 3 perm item drop to level 3 charged items.
* Replaced one Troll Trapper with an equal level Ogre to the all troll trapper green camp next to each start location.



# (2)TirisfalGlade

* Added a tavern to each side of the map, reduced the creep level and item that guard the Mercenary buildings, and reduced two Orange creep camps and level of the item drop.



# (4)TurtleRock

* Opened areas of the map to help alleviate strong choke points that favor ranged unit combat.

* Replaced the 4 center orange camps with 4 green camps.

* Added pathing room around Goblin Laboratory and removed the clump of trees in front of the Goblin Laboratory to enhance game play.
* Lowered the goldmine creep camp from Red to Green
* Pushed Blues West ramp further from it’s start location.



# (6)GnollWood

* Removed all Gnoll Assassins from the Goblin Merchant creep camps, replaced with Gnoll Brute’s.



# (6)Typhoon

* Fixed Red and Teal start location to be closer to the goldmines like the other start locations.



# (6)SilverpineForest

* Removed the Tavern from all start locations
* Can now path across the center of the map, added a Tavern to the center of the map.
* Reduced the Item and creep levels of the 4 Red camps in the center of the map.
* The 6 center goldmines have been reduced in difficulty of creep camps.

* The two center creep camps have been pushed away from pathable area to prevent accidental attacks.
* The players alliance settings have been changed to favor 2v2.

1. They think that ud casters aren't used so much because of the upgrades times :/

But that seems like hard work -_ _- is there a way to fix things when it complains about blabal checksum something wrong etc in war3.exe ;D?

EDIT: Actually, just same problem as I have with BW, auotmatic updating doesn't work, need to do it manually ;p

I think that Human towers still need to be nerfed some. Armor wasn't really that much of a problem, it was the high HP that they gained...

Nice changes with Ensnare, and especially Echo Isles... Interesting changes for Undead and Night Elf though.
We cant give up just because things arent the way we want them to be.

im going to miss bm single handedly owning every echo isles creep camp

for the rest of the changes, well, i havent played war3 long enough to judge, too bad they didnt do anything about o v hu, i have so much trouble with that, maybe sw resistant skin might do smth, not too sure about it tho

What a stupid patch, so Terrence starts a 20 somethin' page sticky for players to address to Blizz the imbalances, and not one as put into effect nor was one bug even fixed.

Ok so now i need twice as much towers as a human to win. And I have 10 seconds more time to kill a ne who expands 2 -3 times at the same time. Also Orc are even stronger and noone will play echo anymore. And destroyers still pwn human hardcore since the armor reduce does not do shit it's their fast attack + anti magic buffs wich r0xx0r

If you have trouble with patching and the trouble is about access violoation on certain maps, you have to uncheck 'read-only' option from them.

The easiest way is right-click Maps folder on W3 and uncheck the read-only box. Then apply it to itself and all sub-folders.

This should solve the problem.

Well, I've just noticed it's 1.19a, maybe there will be version b, c etc. T_T I need to get my cd's from wawer...

Well, my wishlist for the next patches would be:

Undead:
- remove absorb from destros, buff devour
- give banshees autocast on ams
- reduce destros armor gain to 1 from 2 per upgrade
- -4 armor on orb not -5

Orc:
- move ensnare upgrade to t3
- make lower cap for wave
- shorter duration on fs's wolves
- give ww 0 collision on level 3 only and reduce speed boost on this level
- increase scroll of speed cost to 100

Nelf:
- give more exp for killing dryad (it's worth as much as ghoul now, imba)
- make dryad slow poison arrow attack that costs mana
- nerf demon hunter somehow
- increase the cost of ToL
- reduce faerie fire duration
- make rejuv dispell on hit
- move staff to t3

Human:
- reduce towers hp gain for masonry upg
- make pally unable to use other skills while under the effect of divine shield (it's too strong now)
- buff orb
- make tanks cost more (everything, gold, wood, supply)
- nerf brilliance aura

Neutral:
- increasing the mana cost of panda skills

imo, with such changes this game would be much more balanced, entertaining and would give more options.

You know removing absorb from UD would remove the only possible way to even complete with Orc on 90% of maps.

Human isn't as weak as everyone thinks... It's just that everyone copies, and when they copy they can't perfect the timing that most top Humans have.

Tier 3 is SUPPOSED to beat tier 2, so yes if a Night Elf and a Human who both copy play eachother, the NE should win. Because the Human is copying a strategy that requires much more timing, and they don't have it.

Against other races it's fairly balanced, except vs Undead there is a problem with Destroyers, but again good timing will make things much easier for the Human.


A lot of Humans resort to tier 2 and tier 2 ONLY. So when they have to go against tier 3, without that good timing, yeah the Human should lose. That's common sense. Humans ARE slightly weaker, but it's not for a lot of the reasons people think it is.
We cant give up just because things arent the way we want them to be.

Well, when playing hum I've never found destros being some real uncounterable imba... Perhaps it's because I've never played vs some really good UD but I'm not really good too ^_^
Also when I play UD (which is my main race) I rarely make destros - basicaly I make 1 or 2 when my enemy is massing heavy melee - and trust me you CAN win without them and you DEFINITELY CAN win against them. What's my nightmare is nightelves currently with those mass expansions, dreaded bear/dryad/staff or dotts and really powerful heroes :/ Imo bear/dry is like 10x harder to counter than destros.

bear/dryad tech is 'relatively' weak until they reach it, so put some pressure on them! it's nice to kill some DOTCs before they even get the bear upgrade too they die fast in druid form

As UD, Ne is a pain in the ass till I reach tier 3 then it's normally a walk in the park, mostly due to the poor micro of players around my lvl. I can just snipe with nova/coil/impale. Keep a few healing scrolls and they drop fast with minimal losses.

Yeah, it's quite disappointing when you beat a level 27 guy just to find out later that he had like 40-50 apm T_T
How do they get those levels anyway? They buy accs or...?

So many peeps have been complaining that the only way to beat orc with NE was mass cyclone abuse. That's been pretty much nullified now hasn't it, lol.

Mass DotTs definately got nerfed, but orc basically must go Spiritwalkers to counter it now, or the situation is the same as before. Orc might be a tiny bit stronger vs HU too now, since mass casters is by far the main HvO strat now.

Orcs can counter dotts with mass air (and generally counter 90% of the stuff ne usually throws at them). Just seen it working quite decently in the wc3l game of FarSeer vs SaSe.

everything can and is countered, not saying everything is balanced perfectly, but if it was seriously as bad as like "NE has to mass dots or they can't win vs orc" then we'd see it in tournies... as it is, human won CPL, orc won WCG/ESWC (grubby), spirit moon dominates everything ;P UD hasn't really won anything besides madfrog winning BWI a year or so ago... but there's a lot of UDp layers who do very well still, like lucifer

Hm, is there any way I can check what my CDkey is? I have the game installed, managed to fuckup some files so I can't patch, my cd is with some friend I haven't met in ages so can't be bothered..

IMO a BIG part of it is because most people copy. There ARE (whether people like to admit it or not) many insanely good Night Elf players that are just so good and intelligent, and they're creating all of these new things to do that people copy. Other races have players like that too, but not as many, and many of those strategies that are created are often times timing specific (due to many of them being counters), which means people who copy aren't going to be able to fully understand what they're copying.

Orc had a lot of that with Zacard as well. He changed the Orc game quite a bit, and since then, Orc has been just as deadly as Night Elf outside of a few top Korean NE players.


Of course there are minor imbalances, but that comes with each race and map combination and in general isn't so bad that the lesser player will win in most cases, unless the better player screws up. If NE were as racially imbalanced as everyone says, you would see hordes of NE players with MUCH better stats all the time on the ladder.

Cracks and hacks are a top-notch way to pick up viruses, spyware, malware, adware, and anything else bad. So its entirely possible it is full of viruses, but I can't actually say either way.

i downloaded the crack and the fix file for the crack. Then i tried to open war3 then my screen was blank black, trying to load warcraft at 100% cpu usage but nothing happens. This really sux. If anybody can give me help with this issue please do so. Or even better if u have a differnt crack then please post the url in the forums

Here what will you do: Download "w3battle_119b-r1.exe" from "download.35mb.com/godshand/" or "eurobattle.net". Install that and automaticly will update you version to 1.19b and crack it! If you alredy have updated your version you can choose only to crack it.

a lot of them don't work on the weekends... they probably want a full staff, so they do it on a monday

and they wouldn't do it on a friday in case a problem occurs early (which would be the weekend )

For blizz it has only been monday for 36mins. Don't expect it for at least another 12-14 hours. I highly doubt they are going to come into work at 1am for a ladder reset. So expect it around noonish to 2pm PST.

If you're having trouble using cracks then just use Deamon tools. Make sure you mount the original ROC image and not TFT then run The Frozen Throne.exe

That's how I do it.

Thats to logical for blizzard, it's about 9am now and they are probably all still standing at starbucks sipping mocha and playing wow on laptops. They will go in to work at like noon and press one button and it will be done. This program will also make the servers got down for an extra 2-3 hours more than needed, and cause lots of lag issues afterward. ^ ^
