Now that Dwight is staying, the 4 seed is the Magic. They can't catch the Heat so they can't be a top 3 seed, but they are the 3rd best team in the conference.

Yeah if the knicks and bucks make decent runs I'd like to see how teams like Philly and indiana handle it. Atlanta is ok imo

The Magic is clear and away the 3rd seed in the East right now. They have a 4 game lead over the 4th place 76ers, but they are 4 game behind the Heat and doubt would catch them.

That's the #1 reason Philly is a very weird team ( they were still winning without him but he was their best big man and playing like a stud). Guy was riding a massive hot-streak. His play was a fluke IMO. While they're a better team with him, I think his overall impact is fairly negligible.

With Orlando being in the South East with Miami they can't get a top 3 seed unless they get a better record. Oh yeah you're right, forgot about the division winners getting the higher seeds.

Westbrook is top 3 pg in the league and very young, thunder are going to be contender for a while. Rondo in your top 5 is a bit weird, he prolly not even top 10 right now with all new young guys in the game. He doesnt have a jumper can't shoot free throws, only good part of his game is passing. If he wasn't part of the celtics you probably wouldn't even know his name. Ricky Rubio on his way to being top 5 pg to bad he out for the season. Hope he does'nt have knee issues when he comes back, to much talent to go to waist.

If a point guard who's "all about his passing" on a team that would never get a playoff seed without him in the lineup, what the hell would you need to be a top 10 pg?

If there is something about Westbrook that is a legit complaint it's that his assist numbers are way down, but that could be because Durant and Harden are doing more playmaking this year. Either way Westbrook is easily a top 5 PG and has a very, very good case for being #2. This year he's better than Rose due to Rose being injured and not having as many big games or better production. Right now Chris Paul is still #1, and then Westbrook, Rose, Rondo, Deron Williams and Nash are in the conversation with John Wall looking like the next big deal to come a long.

Rubio is a rookie with the same numbers as Rondo, Rondo's assist would be down if he wasn't passing to Pierce, Allen, K.G. Don't get me wrong Rondo is my favorite celtic, last year when he dislocated his elbow in the playoffs and finished the game was one of my favorites from last year. He is still not top 5 though. Tony Parker, Derrick Rose, and Russel Westbrook are easily the top PG in the nba with D.William very close behind. If Westbrook wasn't valuable thunder wouldn't have given him a 80$ million this year. Durant/Westbrook best duo in the league next to Lebron/Wade, maybe even better because there so young and are still getting better.

If Rondo's assists were weighted so heavily because he plays with good players then why don't other point guards on great teams put up high assist numbers, and why does Rondo still make plays no matter who is on the court with him? Point Guards that tend to put up high assist numbers for years can actually pass the ball. Tony Parker is definitely not better than Rondo. I can't even take any list where he's in the top and Chris Paul isn't for real. As for Durant/Westbrook - yes, they're very good. But they'd have to improve by some major, major leaps to be considered in the Lebron/Wade tier. Durant himself isn't close enough to either one yet for that to hold true. It might take some years or a radical approach by his Coach for us to see that happen. ETA: I actually just did a quick check of their numbers and Rubio wasn't even close to having the same numbers as Rondo.
