Redstone isn't that limited. When you find a vein, it usually yields a ton. I definitely like the idea of new arrows, but Redstone doing as much damage as diamond with rapid fire may be a little much.

Ok guys, due to everyone in the TS bugging me (j/k j/k) I threw up the old-laggy-server for everyone to build on until the new server goes up tomorrow afternoon. The server world will be copied over tomorrow to the new server, so build your places until then.

btw so many hostile players ( can't even start gathering wood without getting raped from behind by some douche on the laggy server haha, but that's the game, revenge will come.
Btw can i be attacked when I am on claimed land, or must he/they make a faction and declare war first?

I strongly suggest waiting for the dedicated server tomorrow to have a good experience, but for those hardcore peeps out there, the current server is running, and will be moved to the new one.

We were stress testing the server to make sure it was justa crappy host and not our plugins. We were right.
No plugins, nothing, still laggy as heck. But were already setup with a new server tomorrow. So no biggie.

I think I will join the server tomorrow. Will be my first time playing with everyone here. Looking at the map in the OP, what direction should I go from spawn (where is spawn?) to find civilization?

You'll find civilization the second you log, you start in a town. And factions have claimed land over the roads leading out of town already, lol.

While stress testing the server, this is the map we happened to generate. I kid you not, the entire world is nothing but water with scattered islands. These guys in TS seems to think this is OK for a factions server. lol.
