Generally speaking with awping mid, you can have your B guy bait for ya if you set up real quick (you'll hear the amount of awp shots and know how many Ts are awping). This isn't a good idea for scrims nor matches though

That would be pretty sick, though I'm still not sure if they're as strong with Hiko now. Only time will tell.

Isn't Liquid based in Netherlands? Couldn't they just find 5 random European players in an internet cafe? Would probably be better than iBP's current lineup lol.

This probably happens more often than not, I haven't had anything like this happen to me yet though. Goes to show why you should always cross behind your AWPer I guess!

I like that you looked at your teammate after the shot like he was a complete moron.

Haha yeah, I was screaming "I would've had him!" over teamspeak :p

Yeah, I hadn't heard of people doing this at large but I've kinda started intuitively using my passing teammates as a means to get into position and get a pick off and it works out pretty well!

Also, LiquidCS would be SOOOO awesome!

well i've played on three different servers, still go up and down in the same band of ranks, so i dunno about me belonging in lower ranks in other servers.

The skill level in each rank is also pretty large, i've seen dmg's perform worse than nova 3's multiple times, combine that volatility with the fact that the sea region has like 12 countries, 14 if you include the Koreans and Chinese who occasionally are connected to the sea server, and with almost country speaking a different language, and not everyone has a grasp on the english language

it's a pretty big shit hole

Please don't talk about things you have absolutely no clue about, thanks

What you're talking about still doesn't really matter, and you still didn't get my point (which is that your opponents are taken in the same pool of player than your mates, therefore if you feel like your mates suck ass and prevent you from ranking up, your opponents probably suck equal ass in average). We also play with russians, poles, ukrainians, spanish, portuguese, italians, and whatever countries from eastern europe that often don't speak english, flame, suck balls. It doesn't change anything about the fact that there could be as many in the opposing team than in mine (and how many easy games I won ended with a "cyka blyat kurwa" spam), so why should I complain about the region when it comes to rank? It potentially ruins some of my games, it's annoying, sure, but you can't use it as an excuse when you don't manage to rankup.
I've also seen DMGs (and even one LE guy) perform worse than the average MG/Nova player, I've also played countless games with totally mute teammates or guys speaking russian, so I guess EU server is a pretty big shit hole too :D
I don't want to get into an agressive argument with you (well I guess I already did), and what I said initially wasn't meant to be offensive, but it works for every server and every game; if you play at a given rank and you feel your mates suck, remember that there is an equal chance for your opponents to be exactly as bad. That's how matchmaking works as far as I'm aware, and if you look at your games in an unbiased way, you'll see that it applies. You should therefore focus on improving yourself rather than on bitching at mates. Rather bitch at hackers, because let's be honest, they're the real motherfucking bitch ass pussies here.

Nah not really true. The IBP roster has shit on plenty of european teams in the past and there is no reason to believe they cant still. Europeans in CS are nowhere near the level of Koreans in sc2.

I wouldn't quite agree on that. Europeans are/were dominating cs go since the start. US teams managed to make a little splash (ibp 2nd place and compl/c9 quarterfinals before-if you want you can compare it to Jinor's semifinals) but it was by and large dominated by EU teams. Only time they didn't win was on ESEA lans, but even that changed in the last finals (top 2 teams were EU).
Not saying US teams don't have a chance against EU teams, but atm the situation is close to the on in sc2.

If iBP wouldn't change their lineup every 2months they might actually be a very good CS team.
But they tend to focus more on drama than on playing.

You mean european teams have been dominating other european teams? That isnt really an argument. Look at the results of the past 3-4 esea lans when euros had to come to NA to compete. Kinda hard to consistently beat euro teams when you dont even consistently compete in their lans/online tournaments. Its like comparing apples and oranges. The scene is bigger in europe and they have a larger pool of good players, but to say that random dudes from a european lan cafe can shit on NA's best in the same way random koreans can shit on foreigners in sc2 is objectively false. NA has been somewhat competitive in cs since the beginning of the game (all cs), the only thing holding it back historically is sponsor support and a shitty community.

Haha I think we're both missing each other's points but whatever.

I don't just feel sorry for myself getting shit team mates, I feel bad for every person who gets the random viet/thai/indian who screams in mic in their own language, please I'm not a selfish guy, seeing how I play with others now and keep soloq to a minimum, I rarely get these problems.

You could probably fix your eastern European country problem, which I'm quite positive the Italians, Portuguese and Spanish are not part of, with an ip blocker, I unfortunately don't have that luxury :/ seeing how all the countries are so close to each other.

And watching my own games, I feel like I've hit a ceiling, I'm not committed enough to put more time practising, especially with my internship atm taking up a good 12 hours of the day.

Anyways was fun, I will probs be lurking for a while before I say something else

Literally everything you said can be applied to your comparison of sc2.
Europeans dominating Europeans can be also applied to sc2 be it in form of innovation, life etc. As far as i know Us teams have been coming to EU to compete since 2013 (col team which reached quarters) so that doesn't really apply. Yes, EU teams haven't won US lans until recently (either they don't take it seriously or US teams have just been better is up to personal opinion). Saying they don't come to EU is same as eu guys claiming they can't be on par with koreans if they don't go there.
And no, random koreans can't shit on EU. Just look at Naniwa, Scarlett, Vortix (before he took a break), Jinro, Huk... if we turn the fields then why didn't Yoda,Golden and others (good, but not the best koreans) shit on EU?
Nobody is claiming that NA can't produce good players or stand up to EU, but the reason they haven't done so far lies in them, not in external factors (ibp or c9 were for a month in EU before DHW/some similar tournament and still failed hard so it's unreasonable to say that they weren't able to get practice against eu teams or jet lag excuse).
If you don't sin Jesus died for nothing.
