The SG553 is superior to the AK47 in almost every single category (damage, accuracy etc except price) but it has one single huge drawback : the recoil. The recoil of the AK47 is very manageable and is mostly vertical at the start. The recoil of the SG is very hard to manage because it goes to the side and up right away which makes it very hard to spray. However if you like to tap you might really like it because it has better accuracy (less spread) than the ak. I know NBK was trying to use it a lot in pro play, but in the end, the recoil is very hard to get used to. | ||

And the money! But I play with MG1-DMG people and I have a friend who's really good at getting quick entry picks from medium to long range with the SG553. It may not be technically as good as being able to do the same with the AK, but when it works, it works. | ||

i don't know why scream hasn't tried to get good with that gun, it's basically the perfect gun (aside the movespeed) for his signature playstyle | ||
