Is that how people are generally supposed to aim or is it kind of whatever suits you better? You can wrist aim and just sweep with your arm when you need to turn around. Unless you play with very low sens you should be able to aim around your screen with wrist movements anyway. I see people throwing around sensitivities in like, the 1.5 range, but when I use my wrist that feels WAY too low, so I usually keep it around 2.3. But with my elbow 2.3 is way too much... I guess I just have to figure out which arrangement suits me the best. I have my sensitivity at 1.3. When I practice and kill like 1000 bots it kind of gets uncomfortable after a while but usually in MM I don't pay enough attention to think about it. I play at 4500 dpi, using my wrist 100% of the time. I tried the full arm thing with elbow and it just feels uncomfortable and tiring. I never really get any wrist fatigue so it seems fine. The benefit that I've noticed is that I seem to be better at flick shots compared to most others at my rank, at the cost of less exact precision from lower dpi. Playing @ 800 dpi with 1.3 sensitivity. Mostly using wrist to aim, with arm/elbow for broader movements. It gets tiring after just 1-2 games of DM, or aim maps, but it's fine in MM. I'm at 800 as well. Used to only use 4000-4500 for years when I played BW/Sc2 heavily. When I tried CSGO it felt weird, so I made the switch to 1500 for daily use/Dota 2/LoL, and go down a bit to 800 for csgo.
If you want to use 1500 dpi just adjust your sensitivity in game to make it equivalent to whatever your real sens is when you're using 800 dpi. I play on 1530 dpi because I hate having low sens outside of the game (sensei raw only goes in increments of 90) and .76 in game, basically the equivalent of 800 dpi with 1.5 sensitivity.

If you play with high dpi it might be a good idea to check raw input, a dude on reddit raised a good point about how you can hit negative acceleration otherwise (because of the way mouse input works without raw input, the "cursor" can hit the screen edge and cause slowdowns in movements or something). If you're playing at 4500 dpi though, you should definitely lower it to something around 1000-1500 max.. There is no point being that high, you can cross a 1080p screen with 800 dpi without lifting your hand, why would you need 5x that >.<

I don't think sens/dpi are as closely related as to just double one when you halve the other for the same effect.

So let's pretend that I'm some kind of noob or something who doesn't know how to adjust my mouse's dpi. What would this noob version of myself have to do to adjust that?

There's either a physical button somewhere on your mouse or you do it through your mouse driver control panel. Which mouse do you have? On my Razer Deathadder 2013 I have an icon in my taskbar that I click to open the control panel and in there I can change the DPI.

Most gaming mouse have management software that you can download from the manufacturer's website. This will deal with the DPI on the mouse. you'll still want 6/11 for windows mouse sens

Well yes, its obviously better to be using 800 dpi with 1.5 sens than double the dpi and half the sens, but in reality as long as your mouse has no built in acceleration the difference is negligible.

Yayyyy after yesterday's global elite with wallhack+norecoil, today what the full on spinbot once I got a nice 4 AWP kills. Pleasure to MM as always

How do you do that Cycle Inspect thing that I see people do on streams. I have seen people inspect and spin a karambit for a long time. I can't figure out how to recycle the inspect do you press a button?

Getting to Badge isn't so bad. Getting to Eagle is rough though.

Getting into eagle is very hard, especially right now as most "sneaky" hackers are playing between DMG and eagle.

Yeah I am tempted to just ESEA until next ban wave. Dunno either DMG all of a sudden became god like every game I play or hackers or both haha. Either way really frustrating. Kinda want to get my ass kicked on ESEA and see how awesome 128 tick really is.

If you play a lot of CS I would say get ESEA, but if you just play a couple matches a day, try out CEVO it's free and it's 128 tick, Hell I would say just try CEVO and see if you like it.
