When I play a map to many times I remove it from the map que. (for example I have dust removed 90% of the time unless I am in the mood for the map as I know if I put it in i'll get it 9 times out of 10).

With 247 members in the TL:GO group, I don't understand why the chat is always empty and I always see a bunch of people asking for people to play with either here or in the comment section of the group. It should be a lot easier and faster to just join the chat and find people there (if people actually join it) than comment in the group or here and wait until someone added you/gave you their username.

People who want to play should just join the group chat, it will be a lot easier for everyone and maybe one day, we'll be able to easily find nice people to play with everyday.

Well, me and my friends were consciously only queueing mirage for the last week or so. I'm not even really bored with it, but playing something else for once felt oddly liberating.

Been trying to play Mist for a mission. DAMN THIS MAP FUCKING SUCKS. Has the mapmaker ever played CS? footsteps above, under, everywhere, 50 thousands random corridors and stairs and catwalks going everywhere.. What the hell

I really don't like any of the Operation maps I only competitively play, Nuke D2, Mirage, Cache, and Inferno. I would like to see a season or a good Port of de_Port

About the hitboxes. So I was playing 128 tick HS only deathmatch and there was afker. I shot him over 5 times with high delay on every shot. Didn't hit him. I had even time to take screenshot (didn't move crosshair at anypoint)

Could someone tell me where the real hitbox was? I hit him in shoulder every time.

I've found that aiming at the crown of the head is more consistent with headshots, but also less consistent with hitting people at all, which I suppose is the inherent risk/reward of aiming in general.

Yes, it does. I wrote a post somewhere about my first experience of playing Mist. Basically it is confusing as fuck. It's a DM map masquerading as a de map.

Would explain a lot, lol. In general I feel hitting the oponent is less consistent than it was in 1.6 (applying to both directions, less hits and more hits). I have played a bit of 1.6 again lately and shooting and impact felt soo much better. I can't really pin point it but it feels really precise and you get immediate recognition whereas in GO it feels more wishy-washy. I guess a lot also comes from death/hit animations and sounds. GO is still miles better than Source in that regard but still, I really hope the next CS (if there would be one sometime in the future) gets a harder engine more akin to 1.6.

The first AK shot isn't actually really accurate, even though at that range it shouldn't matter. But CS:GO hitboxes do weird stuff, crouched/jumping hitboxes are known to be totally bugged, and hitting people from the back also is glitchy. In your case maybe it has to do with the guy being alt tabbed and therefore kind of lagging in game and not getting hits registered?

I just ended up playing comp Overpass due to a mission. Is it really as weird as it feels? It feels like there are about a million random angles you can get shot or have a random enemy hiding. For a map that's supposedly meant for comp play, it has loads of really weird pathways, ledges and routes in it. At least I couldn't really find that many good callouts in it either.

It doesn't really help that the whole map concept is really weird if you try to use common sense on it. Apparently Ts are blowing up either some police cars or a pile of planks or something. None of the buildings seem particularly intuitive either.
