It's great, took a bit to figure out how to set it up but when you get it started it really is a power workout. In my competitive game afterwards I felt my aim was MUCH better already after just 45-60 minutes of prior exercise. In case anybody here is interested and unsure how to do it, this is how it goes: Click Play->Offline with Bots. Select any random map, set Bots to Expert Level and hit Play. Once you're loaded in, open the console and type "changelevel aim_map". You can use any other aim map if you want to and/or don't have aim_map. When it's done loading, type "bot_kick" to remove all bots. Use "mp_roundtime 15" if you want to practice 15 minutes, otherwise alter the number, "mp_autoteambalance 0" and "mp_limitteams 30" to make sure you can stack the teams in any way you want, then make the bots use knifes only by typing "bot_knives_only 1". You also want to type "sv_infinite_ammo 1" to make sure you don't need to reload. Once that's done let the game restart with "mp_restartgame 1" to update the new round time. Then just kick bots again with "bot_kick" if they autojoin and type "bot_add_t" or "bot_add_ct" to add bots only to the team you're not on, I played 1v5 which works pretty well to start with. The idea is of course not to find a camper spot on the map where the bots can't reach you, what I did is run into the open middle of aim_map where the bots rush me over and over and just turn around, headshot, headshot, turn around, headshot etc. It's a constant stream of moving and jumping targets and if you miss too much they get close and kill you. Excellent workout really. Thanks to whoever suggested that and posted that video of Scream doing it as well! Yep its a great way to practice your aim and in my opinion its better than dming. People tend to camp a lot of spots and play for kills in dms instead of constantly run around the map trying to get as much aim practice as possible.

However, in higher level play this use doesn't even exist since the pistol round losers buy armor/cz anyway. Especially if you go clutch with the swag 7.. ![]() On June 20 2014 04:05 NihiLStarcraft wrote: Yeah writing your own CFG for that makes sense although you will need to have two ones depending on what side you play on, otherwise you'll still have to manually add bots only to the other side because the script can't know what team you're playing on as far as I know. Making two configs won't be hard at all since the only value you need to change is the bots. Why wouldn't you just play the same team every time? If it is because of primary rifle, that is easy to change. There might be a couple other commands that makes all this easier, but right now I'm not at home so I can't look through my configs to see..

The side matters because in DM you can't do "give weapon_ak47" or whatever, I tested it and it doesn't work because of the gamemode So you need to join Ts for AK training and CTs for M4 for example. And you can't drop weapons either. Still not a big deal of course, just have 2 CFGs or add the bots yourself.

![]() EDIT: Tried it out but it doesn't seem to work unfortunately. If I spawn CT and set "mp_ct_default_primary" to "weapon_ak47" or indeed any other weapon, I still respawn without any primary weapon. "mp_restartgame 1" doesn't help either. As I said though, it's not a big deal to add the bots yourself. EDIT2: Looks like people that know more about CFGs for CS:GO than me have already done the work! http://csgohelp.com/bottraining/

I still use the P250 because I'm pretty good with it and I can't CZ75, the fact that it has only 24 bullets makes me nervous. P250 has more ammo, more control, perhaps a bit less potential for a fast kill during a gun round. P250 I'd say has more control where the CZ75 can get you a sick clutch. The P250 is better for kills for a distance whereas the CZ75 can really surprise someone with a rifle in close quarters and get you a chance to get that rifle and use it to win the round. The CZ75 spray pattern is very simple, just drag toward the bottom left with at a 15-20 degree angle. I hate p250, i only aim heads and its not perfectly accurate, meaning i often miss perfect shots... 5-7 is my bitch in dm, but too expensive in competitive to my liking.. cz75... somewhat like :-) csgo deagle? But yeah, I get some work done.

@Sno_Mans comment. What are "the effects of accuracy" - Don't all guns get less accurate at the same rates when moving / jumping etc? Or is it different depending on the gun? Considering that recoil pattern is just sprayed from standstill im not sure what else you could mean. Unless you mean the time it takes for recoil to reset after not firing?
