It's also a bit annoying when you are in a 2-stack, who teams up with another 2-stack + one lone player, and that lone player is the one who complains the most throughout the match

Bad experiences tend to stick out more so people want to talk about it. You rarely talk about the good experiences cause that's supposed to be intended with the game.

Is it common that the bomb almost never gets planted on Aztec? Just had a 24-round game where the bomb was only planted once (the final round)

I can be toxic at times I'll admit it. I get angry at people at the badge level who don't know simple shit but at first I try and nicely explain it and try to lend a helping hand. Usually it is followed by them telling me I'm dumb and bad.... So I go on and mock and taunt them as they play. If you aren't willing to take constructive criticism cause you value your skill too much well I'll stick it to you. I get told how to change my style and I try to incorporate it all the time.

Now, if I'm playing with friends that are sliver/gold star then I just relax and don't worry cause most of those people are just learning the game. No point in getting mad.. It's like getting mad at bronze league or Starcraft players, no point

Yes. Extremely ct side and a very few player queue for it anyway.

For me it's only Nuke - Mirage - Inferno for now. Maybe d2 and train if I'm too bored. Can't wait for next operation.

Aztec is insanely ct sided (I haven't played the csgo map of Aztec cause I uncheck it). In order for T's to make a plant they have such wide open sections to cross you usually end up in round ending gun fights before the bomb gets planted. One is a bit low but it's not unusual

Wei let's play sometime.


Another note, I dropped a dirty 35 kills yesterday on mirage. Our team had two completely useless shitheads who kept disconnecting and lagging and yet we still pulled out a 16-14win. A few clutch rounds and 1 deags to win. Fun times.

Hello fellow CS GO aficionados, I joined the TL CS GO Group on STEAM. 3 star Nova, played 1.6 growing up (and beta testing before steam). I quit during source and just started again - really interested in improving myself and other competitive what nots.

I didn't play source, but I know for a fact in 1.6 that if T's rush double doors, they could get out before the CTs did.

I was wrong, there were at least two plants in my Aztec game. But yeah, it's still seems to come down to who kills the other team first

Then you would eat 2-3 flashes and 4 nades. Depending on the t spawn points you could maybe get 1-2 T's outside the doors with a full on rush and they might make it pass the cross to the first set of boxes before ct's got there. But standard play was to pre-flash and nade anyways so why are T's rushing unless they are already way ahead.

Aztec was a bad map and wasn't competitive for a reason back in 1.6 and source.

My map rotation right now is:

Dust2 - obvious reasons
Inferno- great map (not a bit fan of the added sections in banana and apartments but they aren't unplayable. It's a nice change up I can give them that)
Mirage - I like the change to B site entrance. Giving T's high ground instead of low entrance gives them a chance when pushing B.
Train- can't say I like the added high point outside but the ledge added to inside hallway was a nice addition.
Nuke - secret was a great add. Made outside a lot more viable.

I wish they would add mill or Tuscan or fire to the rotation. Man those are amazing maps

IMO it offers a lot of really basic strategy stuff for nooby players, due to how simple the map is.

I feel like the T should have the high ground advantage on maps like vertigo. It's like the B tunnel of Ali, one long entrance to B and you have to shot "up" on top of it. CTs already have the defenders advantage and on top of it they have the maps features advantage. Same thing in nuke with the raptor.

Dunno, Aztec was one of my favourite maps because of how matches played out. I definately liked it way more than say Train/Nuke/Assault. I also have quite good memories playing T on that map, however not on high level ofc.

I'm only playing on:

Dust 2 - No need to explain this one, timeless beauty. Reminds me of the good ol 1.6 days when I was a kid.

Inferno - Fun map and pretty balanced.

Nuke - Madly CT favored, I hate this map. It's only in my rotation because it's played on the competitive level. Secret made this map much more enjoyable.

Mirage - Not quite sure why, but I really love this map.

Train - Same as Nuke, will remove it most likely. This map is really not newb friendly. Not favorable to spray and pray.
