I've been wondering the same thing... This year has (and continues to be) pretty amazing for games IMO. Just when I tell myself, "ok, I'll stick with GW2 only, for the moment, to keep it simple", FTL comes along and then TL2 and then Borderlands2, etc. I can't complain (first world problems and all that), but it's going to be a real challenge to stay productive towards the end of this year. Anyways, Borderlands 2 is now pre-loaded on my computer. I don't know how it happened. I went from reading the RPS "Wot I Think" of the game, over to steam, and then suddenly I'd preordered it... Hmm.. I have a feeling some money left my account during that process. Perhaps I shall keep a closer eye in the future. Glad to hear that they've made co-op a lot easier to set up though, that did annoy me in the first one. | ||

Add to that the kind of weapons you see drop dictates how easy some of the game is to solo. I found the constructor boss almost impossible because I never found a corrosive weapon. IN THE CHEST AFTER I KILLED IT was a purple corrosive pistol that 2 shots loaders to this day and can kill a regular constructor before it spawns a loader. There are also spots in the game where you just can't fight when you're a single player because you get overwhelmed too quickly. The cage release with multiple badass and adult skaags in the preserve and the initial chase with the constructor boss atop the dam are 2 good examples. You only learn whether the scenario calls for you to run or fight later, though, which causes major problems when you try to dash through something you're supposed to fight through. People playing in multiplayer, playing a non-Siren class, or who were luckier with gun drops may find things more difficult elsewhere, but the schizophrenic difficulty was getting on my nerves pretty hard on my first run through. | ||

Oh, well.. That's a really hilarious blunder. It's not that horrible of a thing. I know there are people who are supposed to prevent this but as a US citizen the schools here don't really teach us the languages of that region. | ||

I accidently opened it as soon as I got to sanctuary (its a big case with a skull on it - too tempting). I got 2 lvl 8 purple pistols from it, they are good but not OMFGEPICZ which is fine by me, I don't want to be OP or anything. I have a blue weapon as well which is nice, I only use one of the pistols (others in the robots stash for alts) and its a solid all rounder. Anyone playing on EU at the minute fancy teaming up over skype / some form of VoIP? Currently ~lvl 10 but I'm more than happy to make another character. | ||
