All I got from D3 was flashy lights, sure D3 feels more story driven, but that's all things that can be fleshed out quickly and one is a beta, one is a publicity demo. | ||

I wish spellcasters were half as interesting to play in PoE as they are in DDO. Or maybe I should not compare the two games as one revolves around playing in a group and other makes grouping as hard as possible. | ||

Well, They are going to balance PvP in PoE not in Diablo3, There will be tournaments in 'Cutthroat' mode which basically everyone starts at level one and grinds as quick as possible to over throw the other players; last man standing just like 'iron man' in Diablo2. I'm not exactly sure on the way it will work as the game is instanced so unless they put everyone in the same instance you won't see each other. But the details are being worked out. I mentioned this but balanced PvP. I live for PvP if they do this right it will be amazing. With all the passives you can get the character you make will have to be perfect for PvP and in PvM as you have to level it somehow. I'm waiting for Cutthroat mode to be released. Hardcore and anyone can enter your dungeon at anytime. Meaning you are never safe, Personally I feel it will need a bunch of work as most people will just >save exit when someone joins. Blizzard already said screw PvP they don't care about PvP its a joke to them. Sure they are throwing it in but its not going to be serious. Atleast PoE is doing something with PvP. And seriously Blizzards reason was "well if somethings OP in PvP then its gotta be changed for PvM and the game is a PvM game. Which I agree Diablo is a PvM game but PvP makes it replayable. Also to fix the PvM>PvP problem in Diablo3 MAKE 2 SPELLBOOKS. Jeez is it really that difficult? You get a PvM spellbook for whenever you are out in the world, But in PvP you get a PvP spellbook. So problem solved, and you can even use PvM skills in the PvP book as its a diffrent book just nerf them however to balance out the PvP.Since PoE has diverse character builds I am really excited. You can really do what ever you want on your character and it will be fun. Plus the item mall doesn't sell "power" items. So everyone will have an even chance. I just feel 100% that PoE will destroy Diablo3 in PvP but not PvM. I am excited for Diablo3 but the PvP will not be on my list of things to do. | ||
