I'm 99.99% sure rods are just really rare and random drops, but thanks to vara's long term trolling there is 0.01% of me that believes against all reason there is a secret way to get rods probably involving the veil of the night helm. Now I know what it feels like to be the people that know better, but can't completely shake off the urge to believe that a long lost nigerian uncle really did leave them a fortune. | ||

It's not Veil of the Night, Rods have been dropping since before that came out. If you look hard you can figure out the requirements for it from streams and videos. AFAIK there are two requirements for it to drop, but the chances of it dropping even after you meet them its still very low. | ||
