You're a summoner so the hit won't come often if any at all, but you need panic button ( vaal discipline mainly), like really. One of the most dangerous thing is very susceptible to insta multi shock stack, and with no leech or regen it will be rough.

Didn't consider Vaal Discipline (it's one of those new gems that kind of slipped past me). Another question, please: I was planning on going Zealot's Oath, with that said how close is VD to "replacing" ZO? I haven't played wit Vaal gems much, do souls get collected relatively quickly?

I think I wouldn't rely on that alone as long as I play HC. In SC you could probably skip ZO for VD but in HC I would probably run both (but I would probably never run CI as Summoner either anyways  ).

Holy shit im hype for this! So how many of you guys are gunna play hc or sc? I myself am going HC as usual, going to probably make a cheap/tanky marauder of some sort, unless i find a good cheap spellcaster build, arc seems to be in a good place in the regard.

Honestly, i hate how they changed that shit, dont feel like having multiple sites to go to, just to out stuff like this. But i digress. Looks like there wont be many of us HC players!
