EPTpretty much going in from the upper passage, and before the WP i went through 8 or 9 shrines all directly next to each other... half a level of exp even though I was a few levels ahead already (56 now).
Never seen so many of those in one area.

I'm going to do a little market research, see if its worth mirroring. I found one when I was a super noob, seems like I might be able to get a real nice chest on the cheap. | ||

My gear is really bad, but that piece has more armor than my Marauder has total (with passives) at level 82 on Dom. I need better shit haha | ||

Yes, I found a mirror months and months ago, just like that one guy who found one in Act 1. Difference was I didn't use it on a rusted sword. Its sitting in its own special tab so I don't accidentally do something dumb with it, like mirror my friend's chest for example. | ||

Reason I ask is that I need a break from mapping, and I'm trying to get together the gear for a Facebreaker build. I want to steamroll normal Merveil for an hour or two to see if I can snag a Meginord's (Andvarius, Tabula Rasa, and Dream Fragments can also drop, so it's not a complete waste =p), and it requires less than no attention to be paid to the screen while I do it. I'm sure it'd be more efficient to just farm end-game content and buy the damn thing, but I need some change of pace. I'm just wondering whether I'll be seeing actually no currency drops, or almost no currency drops. | ||

I'm fairly sure andvarius is map only unless it's chanced? Regardless, yes that is something you can do. Even with like wondertrap and reserve to low life for rarity, merci merveil shouldn't even touch a map-ready character. Also meginords go for less than an exalt on domination if you go hunting, I would guess you can afford that. Or just do piety runs for the chaos recipe 20 times lol. Dunno about currency drop rates but Its safe to say it never hits 0 I don't think. | ||

Meginord's is just a bit less than 1 ex, so while I could afford it, I think I'll farm a bit first. I'll almost certainly end up buying it, since the likelihood of finding it is so abyssmally low, but I did find my own Marohi while farming with my GS Marauder, so it's not out of the question. =p I'll fiddle with both normal and merciless Merveil, I think. There are far fewer unique drops for normal, so of potential unique drops the chance of one being Meginord's is higher, but there are only a handful of drops she has that are worth more than an alch or so. Merciless Merveil, while having a much lower chance of dropping an actual Meginord's, has a much higher chance of dropping something sell-able. And I'd get currency drops (albeit at like 80% of the normal rate, but still a sight better than the drop rate in normal). If she dropped chaos-recipe-worthy rares, it'd be a no-brainer. I feel like if I'm going to farm Merciless Merveil, I might as well just go back to Piety, though, since there's no penalty, I can chaos recipe her drops, and she has a one-in-a-bajillion chance of dropping Kaom's. =] | ||
