I feel like this new tree has less HP nodes (not %hp nodes) compared to the old one...

So now the %armor also get add to the evasion, then armor + evasion = final armor. The double node like Leather and Steel does not exactly get to add in twice, so yeah.

So, there is really no reason to go max evasion, due to diminishing return, but that is basically what Acrobatic forces you to do. Then there's reflect to consider, and the fact that stun causes desyncs... which is why most people end up with armor + Unwavering Stance. If there was another notable behind Acrobatics that read something like "Immune to Stun, you lose All armor and energy shield", then a fair comparison would be interesting. ps. Is there a spot left in the guild if I ever decide to start playing again?

If I were to start again not sure if id go nemesis or hardcore, my friends play on nemesis but I have no items there all my currency is on hardcore I usually just find a public party that's either doing that boss or leading up to it. They're usually disproportionately harder than the surrounding mobs so no point in beating your head against a wall trying to solo it (unless you're twinked, over leveled, etc.)

Intend to try to solo the game with it. Don't know how though. Maybe some totem shit. I think it looks beatiful!

But well, never was in that area before and next time i'm gonna be more carefull .I had no Problems up until there, only the General nearly got me (due to my glorious 3% fire resist :p) I went for 1h Dagger/Crit with Double Strike and Spectral Throw, was fun to Play, DMG was ok due to an unique dagger that i used from lvl 20 onwards (but it felt a bit "dated" towards the end) .Working on a Trapper atm but it feels kinda weird to play and pretty week vs strong "single" mobs, dunno if i stick to him.

That's probably the multitrap boss you're referring to. Pretty sure he's always at the second floor in the scepter of god(lower part). He has the tendency to kill people since you don't really expect the damage. Even with 75 lightning res he's capable of shocking you, so you should avoid him if possible (stick to the walls, since he's in like the far end of the room). Actually aggored him on accident when I progressed there on normal since I used karui ward + faster projectiles and threw roughly 2 screens away :^) There's a streamer called nugiyen who uses a dagger/shield version of the spectral throw, seems viable. Probably a lot cheaper as well since like 90% of the throwspecs are 2hand sword and 9% 2hand axe.

Well... I guess it's kinda normal progression when starting at 0 in HC... Every Char after just gets a bit easier .Btw: Do slower/faster projectiles actually decrease/increase range?

![]() Even though you should have all resists maxed, a good rule of thumb is to no matter what always put main priority on lightning. Usually vs both frost and fire you have time to log out in case of a emergency, but vs lightning you straight up die from shockstacks. This rule used to be worked around and you could farm "safe" places like docks without lightning res, but the odd chance of a lightning exile, not to mention the scary storm herald, you really should assume there's something that does lightning all the time. And yes, slower/faster projectiles change the range. I think the extra long throw is really nice when you're leveling in outdoor areas like sarn, also helps when you oneshot stuff with the initial hit and don't need the extra hit, so you can quicksilver/leap slam into packs for the return damage on next mobs. Endgame though, I really feel that the range is perfect the way it is. You have the sweetspot where you hit like 6 times or so somewhat at the end of the screen, and if you were to use slower for pseudo melee you're better of with double strike/heavy strike for raw dps

WAs like boom 1000 lightning bolts outa nowhere and shock stacks up the wazoo. Not too bad with a topaz flask tho.
