Then again if you're using IR then that doesn't really matter, but I find it hard to justify now without the %DEX nodes. | ||

Apparently grace starts at 395 evasion and goes up roughly 80 per level (level 20 is 2016 evasion). Thats... rather a lot ![]() Given that you need 150 dex to run grace lvl 20, and you get 2% evasion per 10 dex... yeah you can get some very real evasion numbers now I think. E: K u edited on me ![]() Alright theorycraft time. 2k eva from grace 3k eva from gear (this is probably high but w/e) 3k eva from flask 8K evasion base Perfect "of iron skin" roll (except the evasion one) 300 dex = 60% 100% evasion from passives (this is EASY you can have way more) Hmmm this only rolls to about 29K evasion I don't think that is so high? what am I missing ![]() | ||

There is also the problem that playing without being stun immune is super terror. I guess you can always just use eye, but ^_^ | ||

its 8k * 3.6 (base 1, 1 from flask, 1 from passives, .6 from dex). I'm pretty certain thats how the mod works. | ||

I`m playing a Shadow right now, trying to make a dagger/dagger + lightning build. Pretty fun although I can tell it`s not exactly an optimal build at all. Just using mostly dexterity gems right now as I don`t have much use of lightning skills so far. I accidentally took the +30% evade skill before realizing it also halves my energy shield, which I had been planning on building up. Oh well. | ||

Next up, the cost. Why is faster projectiles (the far more desirable one) 110% but slower 140%? Also faster projectiles starts with more free projectile damage (although I'm assuming this scales slower, wiki data is incomplete). I mean, slower projectiles is definitely a gem I could see NOT levelling once you have your "ideal" projectile speed. Having the damage scale might not even be good ![]() Basically the gem feels incredibly narrow (Point Blank Spectral throw or literally useless). ![]() | ||

The other thing is that the PB gem is fairly underwhelming (120% mana multi, lower attack speed until level 20, although quality can get u 15% damage, no other bonuses). And if you take the passive, what are you doing for AoE? ![]() | ||

I don't plan on using increased projectile speed with my AoE anyway though because it already goes a full screen. I don't see why I would want it to go even farther when it does more damage when it comes back ^_^ Right now I'm using Heavy Strike for single target which feels really underwhelming and ground slam isn't really a single target skill. Does AoE damage ^_^ | ||

So if you move in closer then the returning hit would do a lot. I wasn't recommending increased proj speed for AoE I was merely saying that with PB passive I'm not sure that the standard proj speed will do much damage at the "sweet spot" aka right about max range. Probably needs a lot of testing. I forget how far stuff has to be for PB to suck. | ||
