Slept for a longass time, but logged on at barely top 25. Not really mentally capable to play that much so often so kinda just went back to slow and safe. Which was probably for the best, since some of the bossfights are pretty crazy now. Think the most scary one was weaver on cruel. You never really think too much about it on normal, since I've killed him so many times in races with less than 400hp as long as I have good pots and weapons that 2shot trash. So I went in there completely unprepared with my resist gear, which has low hp and went below 15% life like 5 times that fight :D Also some guy that was solo ranger gave me a couple of tips on how hard Brutus on Merciless hits, so I ended up grinding out 63,8 in merci ledge just to hit 2,8k life when I fought him. At least on 61 you get on average slightly over 1,5 bar per run, but the last level..  I got 2 5links from grinding there though, which kinda made up for it (2hand axe, armor/evasion chest, from memory both are lvl 53 stuff) Anyway, Brutus didn't actually hit that hard at all. The guy said that with 4k+ armor and enfeeble he got slammed for 2k. And without enfeeble I would die 100%... I had about 700 armor without granite when I fought him, and 12k with (replaced purity for an underleveled determination gem) Then just baited the decoy totem, which he 2-3 shots unless he slams, peaks out for endurance charge scream, run around pillar repeat until 4 charges, then just facetank with instant potions. Pretty basic stuff, and never went below 40% hp as long as I backed out. | ||

The only reason to make the middle impassable would be to get rid of bullshit vaal pact builds or min-maxed bowrauders and similar crap, and while that might be a good thing, it's not the right way to do it. On another note, shrines are a very cool way to make Ancestral interesting, throwing your weapon looks fun and OP as hell, and trigger gems sound fun. Nothing but praises once again. Now nerf MF to oblivion and make group an actual challenge =) | ||

It is gonna be really interesting how GGG decide to balance scion. It is impossible to make the middle impassable; the middle will always be passable by rolling scion. I have a bad feeling that pretty much every build is going to be better off as scion or their idea of the hybrid build is useless because underpowered. It seems really hard to find that sweet spot where both are competitive though. Yes, but how serious would a TL guild actually be? | ||
