Not going to continue playing my 75 LA mara since its so fucking boring and it doesnt get any better :/ I died for the first time with my lvl 52 FP shadow to a disgusting desync, tbh i dont think GGG can do anything about desync and are milking the shit out of players with fucking useless microtransactions every week before players realize that the core game is broken even tho everything around it is great. Probably not going to reroll until they do something with desync or if i find a interesting spec to play

Feels like exalts are trending upward to 18 chaos again (SC, anecdotal impressions). Starting to see a lot of people offer 16 equiv for exalted, none out there to be bought.
I wonder if chaos will start to be more valuable soon, though, considering that the recipe got nerfed. Really tempting to play with some currency trading :p.
Edit: on a rethink that seems pretty boring in practice, only 'interesting' in theory...

So today I got account locked as someone from China had logged into my acc.
What I am most worried about is the fact that someone got hold of my password. I cannot understand how they did that.
Also, when I'm changing my password now I guess it should not be anyone I'm using for important stuff as they might get hold of it again.
At least this implementation of GGG is working.

I just desynced while fighting maybe 3 monsters.
I logged out as soon as I noticed I was not doing damage.
When I got to the log in screen and tried to log back in it said my connection timed out.
I closed the game and tried to open it again and it says "cannot connect to patch server".
After about 3 attempts at this the game opens again, I log in and see my 74 witch in softcore.
I uninstalled the game.

my level 76 witch also died to server crash. feels bad. my level 73 marauder died to desync. if a 3rd character dies to "issues beyond my control" im done with hardcore. will just play scrub core.

"Note that unlike the gem's mana cost multiplier, the quality bonus does not apply to mana reservation, such as found on Auras. The quality effect is the same as "Reduced Mana Cost" passives in the skill tree."

Someone was explaining to me that quality reduced mana doesn't do it on % based auras such as Purity, but it works on Clarity/Discipline, etc. Still unsure from the wiki, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on any aura like my original thought, but he was convinced and he said he looked it up on forums :S

The difference is that Reduced Mana affects both "Mana Cost" and "Mana Reserved", the gems quality however affects only "Mana Cost".

I think he's confused because one guy said 'Reduced Mana' works on 'FLAT mana reserved auras like clarity/discipline' but not on 'PERCENTAGE mana reserved auras like hatred/vitality'.
Well according to wiki, I believe 'Reduced Mana' GEM affects both auras and skills whereas for passive Reduced Mana Cost only affects skills and Reduced Mana Reservation only affects auras.

I just wonder how you can reach this level in HC, only act 2 normal western forest 5 purple suicide guy burst themselves in the top right of my screen, I'm like "lol stupid suicide guys", 1sec later my health drop so hard I can't see any red in the bar. I survived but it was really close. Death can come from almost nothing!

You learn to avoid stuff like that quite fast. For example the suicide guys, just run up to them then turn away, unless you've got a ton of negative movement speed they'll be quite far from you by the time they explode. Alternatively, do run-bys. Those guys also get stunned really easily, so if you've got the balls for it, just kill them. Same with all exploding mobs

Yes, desyncs are bad. I play softcore so I don't have any juicy almost desync deaths to share but I see loot droping all over the area when I kill enemies.

So does anyone think the result of the poe currency site being sold will mean the prices won't be accurate or used anymore as the standard? It is a really helpful site for new players like myself who may not have a grasp on the economy yet.
